Automatic retinal layer segmentation in optical coherence tomography (OCT) images is crucial for the diagnosis of ocular diseases. Currently, automatic retinal layer segmentation works well with normal OCT images. However, pigment epithelial detachment (PED) dramatically alters the retinal structure, causing blurred boundaries and partial disappearance of the Bruch's Membrane (BM), thus posing challenges to the segmentation.

Method And Results: In the present study, we found that the recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV)-mediated endothelial cell-specific knockdown of CD151-transfected mice improved transverse aortic constriction (TAC)-induced cardiac function, attenuated myocardial hypertrophy and fibrosis, and increased coronary perfusion, whereas overexpression of the CD151 protein aggravated cardiac dysfunction and showed the opposite effects.

Objective: The objective of this study was to conduct a meta-analysis by synthesizing multiple literature sources to explore whether there are any differences between elastic fixation and rigid fixation in the treatment of acute tibiofibular syndesmosis injuries. The aim was to provide effective guidance for clinical treatment.

Methods: We conducted a comprehensive search across seven databases, including both Chinese and English, to include all studies related to the treatment of acute tibiofibular syndesmosis injuries with elastic fixation and rigid fixation published between January 1, 2013, and November 15, 2022.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of implementation of video feedback combined with peer role-playing (PRP) teaching method in medical undergraduates adopting problem-based learning (PBL) teaching mode.

Methods: The undergraduates of five-year clinical medicine who get enrollment of Wuhan local University from 2016 and 2018 were selected to be the research objects. The same grade level is randomly divided into several groups to carry out PBL, with 6-10 students in each group.
