Background: There is relatively little research in China on the current situation and influencing factors of PTG of parents of children with autism, and the research conclusions are inconsistent. Quantitative research is difficult to deeply depict the dynamic process of PTG of parents of children with autism, and cannot deeply explore the main factors affecting PTG. However, qualitative research has a unique advantage in this regard.

The biological nitrogen removal technology utilizing heterotrophic nitrification-aerobic denitrification (HN-AD) bacteria has shown effectiveness in wastewater treatment. However, the nitrogen removal efficiency of HN-AD bacteria significantly decreases as the salinity increases. To tackle the challenge of treating high-salt and high-nitrogen wastewater, we isolated a moderately halophilic HN-AD strain 5505 from a salt lake in Xinjiang.

Solar-driven selective cleavage of CC bonds in lignin derivatives represents a sustainable pathway for biomass utilization. However, this process faces significant challenges due to the high dissociation energy of CC bonds and steric hindrance between bulky aromatic groups. Herein, a low-cost and efficient photocatalyst, porous carbon nitride enriched with carbon vacancies (denoted as R-CN), was synthesized through the thermal transformation of a sulfuric-acid-induced melamine self-assembly precursor.

Barn Swallows (Hirundo rustica) forage in fields and nest in houses, and thus they can act as biological vectors for the transfer of pollutants from fields to houses. The present study measured current-use pesticides (CUPs) in water, soil, insects, swallows, guano, and indoor dust with and without guano contamination, and investigated the transfer of pesticides from agricultural fields to houses through food chains and guano deposition. The median concentrations of all CUPs were 2.

Commercial tunable white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) fabricated through multi-component mixing encounter high costs, complex control systems, and color-shift issues. Therefore, developing innovative single-component tunable luminescent materials is expected to overcome these limitations. In recent years, the vacancy-ordered perovskite CsSnCl has attracted considerable research interest in the luminescence field due to its lead-free composition, notable chemical stability, inherent self-trapped excitons (STEs) emission behavior, and modifiable optical characteristics.

The newly discovered 2D spin-gapless magnetic materials, which provide new opportunities for combining spin polarization and the quantum anomalous Hall effect, provide a new method for the design and application of memory and nanoscale devices. However, a low Curie temperature () is a common limitation in most 2D ferromagnetic materials, and research on the topological properties of nontrivial 2D spin-gapless materials is still limited. We predict a novel spin-gapless semiconductor of monolayer h-VN, which has a high Curie temperature (~543 K), 100% spin polarization, and nontrivial topological properties.

Three-dimensional (3D) printing represents a pivotal technological advancement in dental prosthetics, fundamentally transforming the fabrication of provisional crowns and bridges through innovative vat photopolymerization methodologies, specifically stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP). This comprehensive scholarly review critically examines the technological landscape of 3D-printed resin-based dental provisional crowns and bridges, systematically analyzing their material performance, clinical applications, and prospective developmental trajectories. Empirical investigations demonstrate that these advanced restorations exhibit remarkable mechanical characteristics, including flexural strength ranging from 60 to 90 MPa and fracture resistance of 1000-1200 N, consistently matching or surpassing traditional manufacturing techniques.

MicroRNA (miRNA) is a common tumor marker, whose abnormal expression is often closely related to the occurrence of various diseases. However, the conventional method for detecting miRNA is qRT-PCR, requiring additional reverse transcription steps, well-trained professionals, and expensive thermal cycling equipment. In this work, we propose a novel isothermal amplification technique (exponential rolling circle amplification-hybridization chain reaction, EXRCA-HCR) for AgNPs@gel-enhanced fluorescence specific and ultrasensitive detection of miRNA-21.

The fusion of infrared and visible images provides complementary information from both modalities and has been widely used in surveillance, military, and other fields. However, most of the available fusion methods have only been evaluated with subjective metrics of visual quality of the fused images, which are often independent of the following relevant high-level visual tasks. Moreover, as a useful technique especially used in low-light scenarios, the effect of low-light conditions on the fusion result has not been well-addressed yet.

A colorimetric method is presented for detecting tyrosinase activity and screening inhibitors, leveraging the in-situ formation of gold nanoparticles mediated by catechol. The active tyrosinase converses catechol into o-quinone leading to changes in both the size of AuNPs and their corresponding UV-Vis absorption spectrum as well as visual color. This enzyme-mediated alteration can be modulated by tyrosinase inhibitors through chemical regulation of enzyme activity.

Remote sensing (RS) change detection incurs a high cost because of false negatives, which are more costly than false positives. Existing frameworks, struggling to improve the Precision metric to reduce the cost of false positive, still have limitations in focusing on the change of interest, which leads to missed detections and discontinuity issues. This work tackles these issues by enhancing feature learning capabilities and integrating the frequency components of feature information, with a strategy to incrementally boost the Recall value.

The industrial development of BiVO photoanode-based photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting is constrained by the poor stability of the BiVO photoanode. However, the effect of phosphorus (P) in commonly used electrolytes on BiVO photoanode stability and the associated mechanism are still scarce. Herein, we investigate the effects of different P-containing electrolytes on the PEC performance of BiVO, as well as the changes in the composition, microstructure, light-absorption properties, and carrier transport and separation efficiencies of BiVO between before and after the reaction.

The cation-π interaction is a crucial noncovalent binding force prevalent in many biological and chemical systems, however, are rarely reported in chiral supramolecular systems. Here, a supramolecular chiral system is reported, wherein cation-π interaction play significant roles. The interaction involves a chiral cationic palladium complex (R-Pd) co-assembling with 12 different polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), resulting in the formation of supramolecular gels in mixed solvents.
