Coronary microvascular disease has been found to increase the incidence of the composite endpoint for cardiovascular events and affect coronary revascularization. Coronary microvascular disease is often accompanied by epicardial disease, and despite successful revascularization and optimal medications, coronary microvascular disease may lead to reduced exercise tolerance and worsening clinical symptoms. Moreover, despite advances in percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary revascularization, the management of microvascular obstruction in reperfused myocardial tissue remains challenging and is a high-risk procedure.

Despite global phase-out initiatives, legacy polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) remobilize in marine ecosystems as secondary emission sources, posing ecotoxicological and human health risks emerge through cross-trophic dietary exposure pathways. This study aimed to systematically examined the distribution, trophic transfer properties, and health risks of PCBs in six fish and eight invertebrate species from the Beibu Gulf in southern China, by stable isotope analysis, hierarchical cluster analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation. The ΣPCBs concentrations ranged from 0.

Radiotherapy, a prevalent and effective treatment for various malignancies, often causes collateral damage to normal skin and soft tissues in the irradiated area. To address this, we developed a novel approach combining SVFG-modified adipose-derived high-activity matrix cell clusters (HAMCC) with concentrated growth factors (CGF) to enhance regeneration and repair of radiation-induced skin and soft tissue injuries. Our study included cellular assays, wound healing evaluations, and histological analyses.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common and lethal malignancies worldwide, with treatment failure often attributed to chemoresistance and evasion of apoptosis. Cathayanon E (CE), a natural chalcone derivative isolated from Morus alba, has shown anticancer potential, but its role and mechanism in CRC remain largely unexplored. In this study, CE significantly inhibited CRC cell proliferation and induced apoptosis both in vitro and in vivo.

In vitro assessment of the inhibitory effect of antiplatelet drugs on platelet aggregation is frequently employed to guide personalized antiplatelet therapy in clinical practice. However, existing methods for detecting platelet aggregation rely heavily on high concentrations of exogenous agonists, which may obscure part of the inhibitory effect of antiplatelet drugs and lead to an underestimation of their effects. This study validates a novel analytical strategy for evaluating the effects of antiplatelet drugs by quantifying the microscopic three-dimensional morphological parameters of platelet aggregates formed through spontaneous aggregation on a glass surface.

Vinylphosphonates serve as crucial components in synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and materials science. However, traditional synthetic methods for these compounds typically require the use of noble metal catalysts and hazardous reagents. Herein, we report a metal-free strategy for the divergent synthesis of vinylphosphonates through the P nucleophilic addition of vinylidene -quinone methides (-VQMs).

The big-headed turtle ( ), currently the only extant member of the genus and the family Platysternidae, has undergone severe population declines driven by poaching, illegal trade, and habitat loss, leading to its classification as Critically Endangered (CR) by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Despite its conservation status, persistent taxonomic ambiguities and unresolved phylogenetic relationships have hindered effective protection and management. This study integrated evidence from genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), mitochondrial DNA sequences ( , ), and morphological data to reconstruct the phylogeny and phylogeography of and revise its taxonomy.

Background: The dopamine D2/D3 antagonist amisulpride has demonstrated its superiority and efficacy in prophylaxis of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV). Given the branded intravenous amisulpride (Barhemsys) has not been approved in China, there is unmet clinical need for amisulpride. Our primary objective was to ascertain the efficacy and safety of the generic intravenous amisulpride (QLG2069) in the prophylaxis of PONV.

Coronary artery atherosclerosis (CAA) stands as a prominent etiological contributor to global cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Its pathogenesis entails intricate interplays among genetic predisposition, environmental factors, and lifestyle determinants. Trace elements, though necessitated in minuscule quantities, have emerged as potential modulators of CAA progression, yet their exact impact remains unclear.

Eucommia ulmoides Oliver leaf is rich in chlorogenic acid, which has antioxidant, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory activities. In this work, a new and green strategy for functional hyper-crosslinked adsorption resin based on Friedel-Crafts reaction of pendant vinyl groups in divinylbenzene with anhydrous ethanol and acrylamide grafting polymerization was developed, and the obtained HCREt-AM resin had excellent performance on chlorogenic acid separation from Eucommia ulmoides Oliver leaf extract. Adsorption isotherm and kinetics study showed the adsorption process fitted by Langmuir adsorption isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetic equation.

Sorting nexin 27 (Snx27), a member of the sorting nexin (SNX) family, plays crucial roles in cell signaling, organelle motility, protein sorting and membrane remodeling/trafficking. While existing studies have focused on the functions of SNXs in mammalian viral diseases and immune regulation, little is known about fish-encoded SNXs, particularly their regulatory roles in aquatic virus infection. In this study, we characterized the Snx27 from the orange-spotted grouper (Epinephelus coioides) and found that it facilitates the in vitro release of Singapore grouper iridovirus (SGIV), as evidenced by the detection of viable virions in the culture supernatants of SGIV-infected grouper spleen (GS) cells.

This study presents a novel variable gain intermittent boundary control (VGIBC) approach for stabilizing delayed stochastic reaction-diffusion Cohen-Grossberg neural networks (SRDCGNN). In contrast to traditional constant gain intermittent boundary control (CGIBC) methods, the proposed VGIBC framework dynamically adjusts the control gain based on the operational duration within each control cycle, thereby improving adaptability to variations in work interval lengths. The time-varying control gain is designed using a piecewise interpolation method across work intervals, defined by a finite set of static gain matrices.
