Current colorimetric sensing arrays for antioxidant detection often struggle with discrimination due to cross-reactive signals from individual nanozymes. These signals are typically modulated by external factors such as pH or chromogenic substrates, offering limited kinetic and mechanistic diversity. To overcome this, we present a novel triple-channel colorimetric sensing array utilizing two distinct single-atom nanozymes (Cu SA and Fe SA) and one dual-atom nanozyme (CuFe DA).

Ru/RuOx/CNTs heterostructured materials are synthesized using an in situ method. The Ru─RuOx heterostructure facilitates active hydrogen dissociation, leading to excellent catalytic performance in nitrate reduction, with ammonia as the primary product at low overpotentials. The process achieves Faradaic efficiencies of ammonia exceeding 90% and a production rate of 1.

The glass transition is dynamically heterogeneous with non-Arrhenius, nonexponential, and nonlinear features, and those parameters are mutually correlated in most cases. This study systematically investigates these interrelated features through thermodynamic analysis of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)/salt complexes, employing enthalpy relaxation parameters, specifically the heat capacity jump (Δ) at and enthalpy hysteresis (Δ). Notably, the introduction of ionic interactions induces simultaneous reductions in dynamic fragility (), nonexponential parameter (β), and nonlinear parameter (), thereby disrupting their previously established empirical correlations.

The catalytic behavior of alloy electrocatalyst is strongly influenced by host-guest metal interaction, which governs adsorption energy and product selectivity. However, in conventional bimetallic alloy systems, the catalyst composition and the geometric configuration often obscure the identification of critical active sites. Here, we investigate the host-guest metal interaction in Cu-In single atom alloy (SAA) catalysts, demonstrating a remarkable switching of electrochemical CO reduction reaction (CORR) pathway.

Gas-phase polymerization is typically employed for the synthesis of high-molecular-weight crystalline polyolefin materials, yet the production of low-molecular-weight hyperbranched ethylene oligomers this method is seldom reported. In this study, we utilized flexible bulky iminopyridyl Pd(II) catalysts to catalyze the gas-phase oligomerization of ethylene, resulting in the preparation of hyperbranched ethylene oligomers. These catalysts demonstrated higher activity and stability comparable to those observed in solution polymerization, yielding hyperbranched ethylene oligomers with lower branching density and higher molecular weights.

The Polygonati Rhizoma have generated significant market attention for their medicinal and culinary applications. However, morphological similarities and ambiguous species boundaries complicate the identification of genera and species, thereby impeding product development and utilization within Polygonatum sensu lato. Despite the widespread application of the chloroplast genome for taxonomic boundary revisions for Polygonatum s.

Electromagnetic scattering control of optical windows has significant challenges in improving optical transmission and compatibility, especially for multispectral and large-angle incidences, due to material and structure mismatches. This paper presents trans-scale hierarchical metasurfaces (THM) to achieve wide-angle optical transmission enhancement and electromagnetic scattering-compatible regulation in dual-band lasers, and infrared and microwave ranges. THM comprises an ultrafine hollow metal array (UHMA) and a transmission-enhanced micro-nanocone array (TMCA).

Species delimitation is a challenging issue in taxonomy, especially in the absence of clear diagnostic morphological characters, a particular problem for cryptic species. In recent years, the rapid development of high-throughput sequencing technologies, when combined with genomic species delimitation methods such as the multispecies coalescent, has significantly improved the ability to resolve cryptic species. However, traditional methods like Bayesian phylogenetics and phylogeography often result in over-splitting due to their failure to fully consider factors such as gene flow.

High-performance X-ray detectors are essential for 3D X-ray imaging in computed tomography (CT), but conventional systems require high radiation doses to achieve fine resolution. All-In-One (AIO) Cu(I) halide complexes, capable of forming both ionic and coordinate bonds within a single structure, offer efficient scintillation at lower doses, yet their performance remains limited by nonradiative energy losses during indirect X-ray-to-light conversion. Here, we develop rigid-cation-assisted AIO Cu(I) halide complexes by introducing π-π interactions to suppress the nonradiative pathways, achieving near-unity photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY).

Sepsis is a fetal disease that requires a clear diagnostic biomarker for timely antibiotic treatment. Recent research has identified a pyroptosis-inducing epitope known as P5-5 in tetranectin (TN), a plasma protein produced by monocytes. Previously, we produced a 12F1 monoclonal antibody against the P5-5 and discovered that it could not only diagnose the presence but also monitor the progress of sepsis in the clinic.

Near-infrared (NIR) photothermal therapy (PTT) has emerged as a promising modality for cancer treatment due to its minimal invasiveness, precise spatiotemporal control, and potent therapeutic outcomes. However, the clinical application of photothermal agents (PTAs) remains limited by issues such as poor biodegradability, long-term toxicity, and insufficient photothermal conversion efficiency. Herein, we report the development of a novel amphiphilic aza-boron-dipyrromethene (aza-BODIPY)-based photothermal agent, C-NBDP-OEG, which self-assembles into monodisperse nanoparticles in aqueous solution.

It is imperative to develop reliable chiral discrimination methods to detect enantiomer D-cysteine (D-Cys) involved in brain chemistry to further understand its functions in pathological and physiological events in brains. We herein fabricated an integrated polymer dot (Pdot)-based nanoprobe, BFD@Ch-pdots, derived from a newly designed chiral polymer and Cys-responsive dye for ratiometric imaging of D-Cys in cells and brains. The Pdots exhibited high enantioselectivity, good biocompatibility, and efficient blood-brain barrier (BBB) penetration.

We present here a chiral phosphoric acid-catalyzed asymmetric Doyle indolization enabling efficient construction of axially chiral indolizinylindoles with stable C-N stereogenic axes. Importantly, this intriguing cascade cyclization realized the highly enantioselective synthesis of axially chiral quarteraryl skeletons containing two contiguous stereogenic axes in good to high yields and excellent stereoselectivities. Furthermore, an atropo-divergent synthesis was achieved via switching the 3,3'-substituents of the CPA catalyst.

This study analyzed the legal obstacles on the access to assisted reproductive technology (ART) by single women in mainland China, focusing on the period from 2001 to 2024, and reassessed the Chinese regulatory framework. The study employed legal text data sourced from the PKU Law database, and the case data from the China Judgments Online. Results revealed that the Chinese prevailing legislative framework prohibits single women to use ART and the courts oppose egg freezing for this group too, which creating regulatory obstacles to their reproductive rights.

Biological glue (bioglue) can noninvasively seal and reattach wound tissue outside the hospital, which has been extensively studied recently. Nevertheless, the commercial bioglue lacks constant oxygen supply, antioxidation, and anti-inflammation, three other key factors for bacteria-infected wound healing in plateau areas. Herein, a multifunctional bioglue (LA-DESP/ε-PLL@) is simply fabricated by encapsulating into a matrix composed of α-lipoic acid (LA), α-lipoic acid sodium (LANa), and ε-polylysine (ε-PLL).
