Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) enable communication between individuals and computers or other assistive devices by decoding brain activity, thereby reconstructing speech and motor functions for patients with neurological disorders. This study presents a high-resolution micro-electrocorticography (µECoG) BCI based on a flexible, high-density µECoG electrode array, capable of chronically stable and real-time motor decoding. Leveraging micro-nano manufacturing technology, the µECoG BCI achieves a 64-fold increase in electrode density compared to conventional clinical electrode arrays, enhancing spatial resolution while featuring scalability.

Developing highly active and stable nonprecious electrocatalysts toward sluggish alkaline oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is essential for large-scale green hydrogen production via electrochemical water splitting. Here we report phase and surface co-reconstruction of S-doped (NiCo)WC nanoparticles into (NiCo)C with amorphous electroactive NiCoOOH layer for highly efficient alkaline OER by W dissolution and NiCo surface oxidation. The W dissolution results in the formation of Brønsted base WO ions, which electrostatically accumulate around electrode to promote water dissociation into abundant OH* intermediates, in situ constructing a locally strong alkaline microenvironment to facilitate OH* adsorption on NiCoOOH sites and trigger lattice-oxygen oxidation path.

Eukaryotic harmful and toxic microalgae, along with their derived toxins, pose significant threats to seafood safety, human health, and marine ecosystems. Here, we developed a novel full-length 18S rRNA database for harmful and toxic microalgae and combined metabarcoding with toxin analyses to investigate the ecological patterns of phytoplankton communities and the underlying mechanism of associated toxic microalgae risks.
