Background: Amphotericin B (AmB) remains a cornerstone in antifungal therapy, but its clinical use is limited by dose-dependent nephrotoxicity. Lipid-based formulations such as amphotericin B cholesterol sulfate complex dispersion (ABCD) were developed to mitigate renal injury, though their comparative renal safety profiles remain incompletely defined.

Objective: This study aimed to establish a pharmacologically relevant mouse model to characterise the nephrotoxicity of conventional AmB (AmB-D) and ABCD formulations, using continuous non-invasive glomerular filtration rate (GFR) monitoring and renal injury biomarkers.

Spatial trajectory inference models cell differentiation and state dynamics within tissues by integrating spatial information. Existing spatial trajectory inference methods depend on similarity-based cell graphs constructed from spatial proximity, with less attention to the Markovian property in cell state transitions. In this study, we introduce CASCAT, a tree-shaped structural causal model with the Markovian property integrated to infer a unique cell differentiation trajectory, addressing challenges posed by Markov equivalence in high-dimensional and nonlinear data.

We engineer molecular packing in five derivatives of the nonfullerene acceptor Y6. Using transient absorption spectroscopy, we find evidence of the formation of a delocalized exciton in addition to the local exciton in neat films of the acceptors. Following selective photoexcitation of the acceptors in donor/acceptor blends with D18, we observe anion formation on the same timescale as in neat acceptor films, suggesting that D18 is a bystander to charge generation after photoexcitation of the acceptors.

This study evaluates the impact of national Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) in China on inter-provincial and international carbon emission transfers using a multi-regional Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model, incorporating production- and consumption-based accounting, regional trade linkages, and carbon market mechanisms. Significant regional disparities in emissions reductions and economic impacts are identified, particularly between northern and southern provinces divided by the Qinling-Huaihe Line. Northern provinces achieve greater production-side emission reductions and experience lower marginal abatement costs than southern provinces, reflecting industrial structural differences.
