Interpatient tumor heterogeneity manifests as multimodal distributions across genomic, transcriptomic, and microenvironmental profiles. This fundamentally violates the unimodal assumption of conventional machine learning models, impairing immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) response prediction. To resolve this limitation, we propose a heterogeneity-optimized framework that applies K-means clustering to stratify patients into biologically distinct hot-tumor and cold-tumor subgroups, demonstrating superiority over hierarchical/DBSCAN clustering.

Monomodal therapies often fail to eradicate tumors due to the complexity of tumorigenesis and microenvironmental resistance. Electrodynamic therapy (EDT) and cuproptosis as emerging antitumor therapies have attracted widespread attention and become the promising strategies for tumor treatment due to their unique advantages. Here, we first time present a light-cured millineedle as a tool for co-delivering a nano-pomegranate (N-PG) platform and Cu by integrating EDT and cuproptosis induction for combined oral cancer treatment.

The flexible transparent conductive films (TCFs) of a ZnS/Cu/Ag/TiO multilayered structure were deposited on a flexible PET substrate with high surface roughness using magnetic sputtering, and the effects of structural characteristics on the performance of the films were analyzed. The TCFs with TiO/Cu/Ag/TiO and ZnS/Cu/Ag/ZnS symmetric structures were also prepared for comparison. The TCF samples were deposited using ZnS, TiO, Cu and Ag targets, and they were analyzed using scanning electronic microscopy, atomic force microscopy, grazing incidence X-ray diffraction, spectrophotometry and a four-probe tester.

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a prevalent and high-risk type of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and a major threat to global human health. Rapid and accurate diagnosis of CVD is important to protect life and health. Cardiac troponin (cTnI) is considered the best biomarker for diagnosing AMI because of its high specificity and sensitivity to acute cardiomyocyte injury.

Photochromic and luminescent complexes are easy to imitate due to their single-signal output, resulting in a low encryption and anticounterfeiting level. Photochromic luminescence (PCL) complexes exhibit fluorescence and color-changing dual output, which provides additional safety and greatly improves anticounterfeiting security. However, it is challenging to overcome the competition between luminescence and the quenching effect of the photoinduced electron transfer (PET) process.

In the domain of Chinese clinical medical question-answering (QA), traditional Large Language Models (LLMs) encounter challenges such as hallucinations and difficulties in updating knowledge for knowledge-intensive tasks. To address these issues, this research presents a Chinese clinical medical QA model that integrates Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and a medical knowledge graph, named CMedRAGBot. First, a Chinese medical knowledge graph encompassing multiple entity types-including diseases, medications, and symptoms-is constructed.

The increasing demand for wind turbines and cost pressures in the wind energy industry have made the Wind Turbine Pultruded Panels Production Scheduling Problem (WTPP-PSP) a critical challenge. To address the production scheduling requirements of WTPP-PSP, an intelligent platform is proposed for wind turbine pultruded panel production systems, leveraging intelligent decision-making to tackle the problem. A multi-objective model based on mixed-integer linear programming is developed, considering sequence-dependent completion and setup time constraints.

Functional near-infrared spectroscopy is a noninvasive neuroimaging technique that uses optical signals to monitor subtle changes in hemoglobin concentrations within the superficial tissue of the human body. This technology has widespread applications in long-term brain-computer interface monitoring within both traditional medical domains and, increasingly, domestic settings. The popularity of this approach lies in the fact that new single-channel brain oxygen sensors can be used in a variety of scenarios.

Constructed wetlands (CWs) have been proved to be effective in treating sulfonamide antibiotics (SAs) wastewater. Nevertheless, as an essential element in CWs, the significance of plants, continues to be a topic of controversy. In this study, CWs with two different plant species were taken as the research object to investigate their treatment performance, in order to understand the impact of plants on the treatment of SAs wastewater in CWs and to discover the underlying action mechanisms.

The fuel efficiency of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is influenced by various factors, including working conditions, driving style, and environmental variables, with the design of their energy management strategy (EMS) serving as the core and critical technology. In order to adapt to traffic environment, it is of great significance to construct driving cycles that align with driving characteristics, providing data support for the optimization of the EMS. This paper carried out research on the EMS optimization for multi-mode hybrid electric vehicle (MMHEV).

In foggy environments, infrared images suffer from reduced contrast, degraded details, and blurred objects, which impair detection accuracy and real-time performance. To tackle these issues, we propose IDDNet, a lightweight infrared object detection network that integrates multi-scale fusion dehazing. IDDNet includes a multi-scale fusion dehazing (MSFD) module, which uses multi-scale feature fusion to eliminate haze interference while preserving key object details.

In order to enhance the photocatalytic performance of CoFeO, carbon (C) was exploited to modify it through developing a CoFeO/C heterojunction photocatalyst. CoFeO/C nanocomposites with varying C contents were fabricated through a simple one-pot solvothermal approach by adjusting the dosage of glucose. The photocatalytic capabilities of the as-prepared CoFeO/C nanocomposites were evaluated by the reduction of Cr(VI) under visible light exposure.

Photosynthesis in nature begins with light harvesting. The special pigment-protein complex converts sunlight into electron excitation that is transmitted to the reaction center, which triggers charge separation. Evidence shows that quantum coherence between electron excited states is important in the excitation energy transfer process.

By developing an intertemporal decision-making model, this paper investigates the impact of the acquisition of overseas residency by a firm's beneficial owner on the firm's intertemporal decision-making. By incorporating a discount rate in the model, the paper finds that obtaining foreign residency alters the temporal distributional characteristics of the utility of the beneficial owner, weakening its preference for intertemporal investment behaviors such as R&D and donations. We then conduct an empirical analysis using the propensity score matching method for Chinese listed firms.

NaVMn(PO) (NVMP) is a prospective cathode for sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) due to its low cost and extraordinary structural stability. However, poor conductivity restricts the electrochemical performance of NVMP, which limits its development and application. Herein, carbon-encapsulated NVMP porous nanorods are prepared via a convenient electrospinning method.

The forming quality of profiled ring rolling not only encompasses macroscopic accuracy but also emphasizes the microstructure. Due to the multiple process parameters and complex metal flow during profiled ring rolling, the various forming defects are difficult to control and difficult to study theoretically. The objective of this study is to establish a comprehensive method for evaluating the forming quality of profiled rings, which considers both the macroscopic forming accuracy and the microstructure.
