Objective: To analyze the clinical efficacy of alprostadil combined with nimodipine in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm (CVS) after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) in elderly patients.

Methods: This is a retrospective study. According to different treatment methods, the elderly 100 patients with CVS after SAH hospitalized in Baoding First Central Hospital from March 2020 to May 2021 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 patients in each group.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was made on 80 patients with cervical lymphadenopathy admitted to Baoding No.1 Central Hospital from to October 2018 to February 2020, and they were randomly divided into two groups: core needle group and fine needle group.

Wernekink commissure syndrome is a rare midbrain syndrome with bilateral cerebellar dysfunction,eye movement disorder,and palatal myoclonus.Few cases of this syndrome have been reported in China,let alone those combined with hallucinations and involuntary groping.This paper reports the diagnosis and treatment of a case of Wernekink commissure syndrome with hallucinations and involuntary groping,aiming to enrich the knowledge about this disease for clinicians.

However, the effect of embelin on degeneration of intervertebral disc (IDD), a chronic inflammatory disorder, has not been reported. This study was attempted to explore the therapeutic action of embelin on IDD in vitro.

Background: Although albuminuria has been linked to heart failure in the general population, the relationship between urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (uACR) and heart failure in type 2 diabetes patients is not well understood. We aimed to investigate the relationship between uACR and new-onset heart failure (HF) in type 2 diabetics.

Methods: We included 9287 Chinese participants with type 2 diabetes (T2D) but no heart failure (HF) who were assessed with uACR between 2014 and 2016.

Objectives: To compare and analyze the incidence of anxiety and depression of infectious disease fever patients in hospitalized isolation and home isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the risk factors for the negative emotions of hospitalized isolation patients.

Methods: Forty isolated infectious disease fever patients in Baoding No.1 Hospital were randomly selected as the study group, and the other 40 isolated infectious disease fever patients at home were randomly selected as the control group from March 2020 to August 2020.

Oliguric patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) often requires an internal jugular vein or femoral venous catheter to establish vascular access for emergency hemodialysis. Puncture with catheterization (PC) of the right internal jugular vein (RIJV) is relatively simple and is often the first choice for hemodialysis catheters insertion. However, complications such as bleeding and hematoma at the puncture site can occur, and in rare cases, the hemodialysis catheter (HDC) can be misplaced into the internal carotid artery, subclavian artery, subclavian vein, or even the thoracic cavity and mediastinum, leading to intractability for processing next.

An atypical ALS with PSP-like symptoms caused by p.D40G mutation: A case report and literature review.

Background: mutations were first reported to be associated with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2017. Several studies have investigated the prevalence of mutations in different populations, while less is known about the spectrum of phenotypes and the genotype-phenotype correlation with this gene mutation.

Case Presentation: Here, we report a 74-year-old man who was initially diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) because of repeated falls, slight upward gaze palsy, and mild cognitive dysfunction at the onset.

Background: The femoral neck system (FNS) has been considered as a novel strategy for femoral neck fracture. The diversity of internal fixation creates difficulties in choosing an effective option for Pauwels III type femoral neck fractures. Therefore, it is significant to investigate the biomechanical effects of FNS versus conventional approaches on bones.

In this study, we examined PD-L1 protein levels in preoperative urine samples from bladder cancer patients, evaluated the prevalence of PD-L1 in urine, examined the usefulness of urine as a surrogate for PD-L1 expression in tumors, and compared PD-L1 expression in postoperative pathological sections.

Asiaticoside attenuates oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation-caused injury of cardiomyocytes by inhibiting autophagy.

Asiaticoside is a natural triterpene compound derived from Centella asiatica, possessing confirmed cardioprotective property. However, the roles of asiaticoside in regulating oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R)-caused cardiomyocyte dysfunction remain largely obscure. Human cardiomyocyte AC16 cells were stimulated with OGD/R to mimic myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury and treated with asiaticoside.

Background: The spatial position of internal fixation play a role in determining the stability of internal fixations, both in clinical practice and research. Researchers have examined the stability of FNS (Femoral neck system) in the presence of coronal plane changes. In our knowledge, due to the biomechanical limitations of the specimens, there are no mechanical studies on the sagittal variation of FNS.

Objectives: To compare the clinical efficacy of robot of stereotactic assistant (ROSA) and frame-assisted stereotactic drilling and drainage for intracerebral hematoma in hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH).

Methods: A total of 142 patients with HICH treated in Baoding First Central Hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected and divided into two groups using a random number table. The ROSA group was treated with a robot of stereotactic assistant, while the frame group underwent frame-assisted stereotactic drilling and drainage for intracerebral hematoma.

Application evaluation of mixed-reality holographic imaging technology in the surgical treatment of spinal cord glioma.

Objectives: To investigate the application effect of mixed reality (MR) holographic imaging technology in the clinical surgical treatment of spinal cord glioma.

Methods: The clinical data of 53 patients with spinal cord glioma who underwent surgical treatment in the Neurosurgery Department of our hospital from January 2017 to May 2020 were retrospectively studied. All the patients were divided into two groups according to different assistive technologies during the surgery: the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases and 23 cases respectively.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was carried out focusing on the general clinical data of 86 patients with PTC treated Baoding No.1 Central Hospital from January 2020 to September 2021.

Objective: Inflammatory cytokines modulate atherogenesis and plaque rupture to involve in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) progression. The present study determined eight inflammatory cytokine levels in 212 percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)-treated STEMI patients, aiming to comprehensively investigate their potency in estimating major adverse cardiac event (MACE) risk.

Methods: Serum tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IL-17A, vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1), and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) of 212 PCI-treated STEMI patients and 30 angina pectoris patients were determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
