Drug-induced liver injury is a leading cause of high attrition rates for both candidate drugs and marketed medications. Previous in silico models may not effectively utilize biological drug property information and often lack robust model validation. In this study, we developed a graph convolutional network embedded with a biological graph learning (BioGL) module-named BioGL-GCN(Biological Graph Learning-Graph Convolutional Network)-for drug-induced liver injury prediction using toxicogenomic profiles.

Cilia, evolutionarily conserved organelles on eukaryotic cell surfaces, depend on the intraflagellar transport (IFT) system for their assembly, maintenance, and signaling. The IFT system orchestrates bidirectional trafficking of structural components and signaling molecules through coordinated actions of protein complexes and molecular motors. IFT complexes assemble into anterograde trains at the ciliary base and undergo structural remodeling at the ciliary tip to form retrograde trains, with bidirectional motility regulated by modifications on the trains per se and the microtubule tracks.

Methods: Retrospective analysis of 155 MD patients (189 ears) included clinical data, audiovestibular assessments, and gadolinium-enhanced MRI. Vestibule volume (VV) and the volume of vestibular endolymph (EndV) were outlined on 3D-real IR sequence images, and the volume of vestibular endolymph was calculated by the vestibular endolymphatic ratio (ELR) to evaluate the degree of EH, analyze the correlation between the degree of EH and specific clinical features, hearing and vestibular function, and determine the optimal ELR value to differentiate each degree of effusion by using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis.

Global warming is accelerating the poleward and upward shifts in climatically suitable ranges of species. (switchgrass) is recognized for its dual value in China's dual-carbon strategy: mitigating food-energy land competition and restoring marginal ecosystems. However, the accuracy of habitat projections is constrained by three limitations: reliance on North American provenance data, uncalibrated model parameters, and insufficient scenario coverage.

Background: Blood glucose monitoring is of paramount importance for patients with diabetes. However, conventional glucose meters exhibit limited accuracy and present challenges for prolonged use, primarily due to the high consumption of glucose oxidase (GOD) and their sensitivity to temperature and environmental factors. phenylboronic acid (PBA), benefiting from its reversible reaction with glucose and superior stability, holds potential as a promising medium for long-term glucose monitoring.

Purine metabolism emerges as a pivotal regulator in cellular metabolic networks through multiple mechanisms, including dysregulation of de novo biosynthesis/salvage pathway coordination, adenosine-mediated immunosuppressive microenvironment formation, and collective contributions to tumorigenesis and malignant progression. During metastatic progression, purine metabolism reinforces tumor cell plasticity through mitochondrial energy regulation and modulation of cell cycle checkpoints (eg, G1/S transition).

However, congenital or acquired tooth loss may lead to random tooth loss in individuals, resulting in bias in age prediction. To address this issue, we validated and modified Bedek's tooth age inference method (a method for inferring the age of a population with missing teeth) for the first time in the Chinese population of children with complete dentition, congenital tooth loss, and acquired tooth loss, and constructed two new machine learning based tooth age inference methods (unilateral mandible and bilateral mandible tooth age estimation models) in this population.

Colored radiative cooling (CRC) materials provide a sustainable solution to thermal management, mitigating global warming while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Nevertheless, conventional CRC materials exhibit reduced cooling efficiency due to their significant sunlight absorption and degraded optical performance in dusty outdoor environments. Developing self-cleaning CRC materials with high cooling performance and vibrant color remains challenging.

Introduction: The triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, a robust surrogate marker of metabolic dysregulation reflecting both insulin resistance and lipid-glucose homeostasis, has emerged as a significant predictor of cerebrovascular outcomes. Given the critical role of metabolic-nutritional status in post-stroke recovery, we supposed that the TyG index may predict the prognosis of ischemic stroke patients who underwent thrombectomy in the posterior circulation.
Methods: We studied 60 patients with cerebral infarction who underwent emergency posterior circulation interventional thrombectomy at a comprehensive stroke center from January 2018 to July 2024.
