Background: Blood glucose monitoring is of paramount importance for patients with diabetes. However, conventional glucose meters exhibit limited accuracy and present challenges for prolonged use, primarily due to the high consumption of glucose oxidase (GOD) and their sensitivity to temperature and environmental factors. phenylboronic acid (PBA), benefiting from its reversible reaction with glucose and superior stability, holds potential as a promising medium for long-term glucose monitoring.

To address the escalating challenge of atmospheric CO emissions, this study proposes a self-healing Cu single atom (SA) catalyst design. By partially cleaving Cu-N bonds via hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), coordinatively unsaturated Cu sites form and spontaneously bond with adjacent ZrO clusters which are strategically positioned near the Cu SA, creating a hybrid Cu-N/O structure with enhanced performance. In situ Raman and X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) measurements confirm the dynamic reconstruction of coordination environment from CuN to CuNO under electrochemical conditions.

Remote sensing images usually reveal various objects with complex structures and different locations within vast ground area backgrounds. That leads to a major challenge for conventional generative models in handling remote sensing objects with correct shapes and clear textures. Integrating additional object-level controls can be a potential solution to improve generation quality, yet previous approaches inject the object-related conditions by specifying their locations, causing a limitation in object layout in generated results.

Animal drugs have been used in the treatment of uro-andrological diseases since ancient times. At present, the clinical use of animal drugs is mostly based on the experience of doctors. From the perspective of the diversified theories of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), this paper summarizes the experience of predecessors in the use of animal drugs, and believes that under the guidance of the TCM theories, the application of animal drugs in the treatment of uro-andrological diseases has achieved multi-dimensional and diversified development, as in the treatment of chronic prostatitis based on the theories of "heat poison", "stasis poison" and "aromatherapy through the orifice", and in the management of ED from the perspective of "kidney deficiency", "qi-blood disharmony" and "collateral disease", which accords with the mainstream thought of current scholars in the differentiation and treatment of uro-andrological diseases.

Although human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines have been introduced in China since 2016, vaccination coverage remains suboptimal, and data on regional disparities are limited. In 2021, Chengdu implemented a subsidized HPV vaccination program targeting girls aged 13-14 years.

IAVs are classified into various subtypes, and a combination of multiplex reverse transcription-multiple cross displacement amplification (mRT-MCDA) and lateral flow biosensor (LFB) has been developed to detect three subtypes (H1N1, H3N2, and H7N9) that have been frequently observed in recent years. This technology simultaneously reverse transcribes and amplifies two target genes, hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA), at a constant temperature of 63 °C in just 40 min.

Accurately detecting roses in UAV-captured greenhouse imagery presents significant challenges due to occlusions, scale variability, and complex environmental conditions. To address these issues, this study introduces ROSE-MAMBA-YOLO, a hybrid detection framework that combines the efficiency of YOLOv11 with Mamba-inspired state-space modeling to enhance feature extraction, multi-scale fusion, and contextual representation. The model achieves a mAP@50 of 87.

This requires developing an objective system for assessing the palatability of chewable dosage forms, which will aid in setting quality control standards.
Objective: Using a texture analyzer, this study aimed to develop an objective, data-driven approach to evaluate chewability and grittiness in chewable tablets.

Capturing different pluripotent state stem cells from epiblast in vitro helps understand embryonic development and provides invaluable cell sources for basic research and regenerative medicine. Sheep are not only one of the most important livestock species in agriculture but also serve as an ideal preclinical model for studying human disease. Single-cell transcriptome analysis of sheep preimplantation embryos from embryonic day (E) 1 to E14 is performed to investigate the pluripotency changes of epiblast and elucidate the pluripotent regulation signaling.

A total of 15 EV-derived De-miRNAs was identified by miRNA-Seq, among which miR-3147 was the most significantly differentially expressed.

Hermit crabs are vital to coastal ecosystems, serving as environmental health indicators and contributing to seed dispersal, debris cleanup, and soil disturbance. Traditional hermit crabs survey methods, like quadrat sampling, are labor-intensive and environmentally dependent. This study presents an innovative approach combining UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)-based remote sensing with Super-Resolution Reconstruction (SRR) and the CRAB-YOLO detection network, a modification of YOLOv8s, to monitor hermit crabs effectively.

Despite over a century of studies, fundamental questions remain about the processes governing crystal nucleation from melts or solutions. Research over the past three decades has presented mounting evidence for kinetic pathways of crystal nucleation that are more complex than envisioned by the simplest forms of classical theory. Such observations have been presented for colloidal and elemental systems with covalent and metallic bonding.
