Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) exhibit exceptional adsorption capacity but suffer from challenging desorption. In this study, a bromine-functionalized magnetic COF composite (FeO@COF-Br) was synthesized via bromodimethylsulfonium bromide-mediated bromination of imine-linked COF on FeO nanospheres (FeO@COF), where the COF framework was constructed by 1,3,5-tris(4-formylphenyl)benzene and 2,6-diamino-3,5-diethynylpyridine. Compared with pristine FeO@COF, FeO@COF-Br enhanced desorption efficiencies for brominated contaminants by about 30% while maintaining adsorption capacity.

Objective: This study aimed to compare automated three-dimensional Intrapulmonary Vessel Volume (IPVV) differences between lung and mediastinal windows in healthy individuals using quantitative measurements obtained from chest Computed Tomography (CT) plain scans.
Methods: A total of 258 participants (aged 21-83 years) with negative chest CT scans from routine physical examinations conducted between January to November 2023 were retrospectively enrolled. For each healthy participant, an algorithm was used to automatically extract total lung IPVVs as well as IPVVs for vessels of specific diameter.

Objectives: To explore the performance of low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) with deep learning reconstruction (DLR) for the improvement of image quality and assessment of lung parenchyma.
Methods: Sixty patients underwent chest regular-dose CT (RDCT) followed by LDCT during the same examination. RDCT images were reconstructed with hybrid iterative reconstruction (HIR) and LDCT images were reconstructed with HIR and DLR, both using lung algorithm.

A high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet method was developed for rapidly and simultaneously analyzing novel and typical bisphenols in building materials, including bisphenol S, diphenolic acid, bisphenol F, bisphenol E, bisphenol A, bisphenol B, bisphenol AF, bisphenol AP, bisphenol C, bisphenol FL, bisphenol Z, bisphenol BP, bisphenol M, and bisphenol P. By using a Kromasil 100-5 C18 column, these bisphenols were completely separated in 40 min via gradually increasing the concentration of methanol in the mobile phase from 45 to 80% during the elution process. In particular, this method achieved the synchronous analysis of bisphenol S, diphenolic acid, bisphenol FL, bisphenol BP, and bisphenol M through HPLC, which were difficult to separate and had to be identified and detected through mass spectrometry.

In this study, we applied machine learning to develop and validate two prediction models for acute ischemic stroke (Model 1) and severity of neurological impairment (Model 2), both caused by anterior circulation large vessel occlusion (AC-LVO), based on medical history and neuroimaging data of patients on admission. A total of 1,100 patients with AC- LVO from the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University in North China were enrolled, of which 713 patients presented with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) related to AC- LVO and 387 presented with the non-acute ischemic cerebrovascular event.
