Background: The HPV infection rate in Sichuan exceeds the national average. The provincial government has initiated vaccination programs, with a particular focus on impoverished areas such as the Ganzi, Aba, and Liangshan prefectures, where both the HPV disease burden is elevated and vaccination uptake remains suboptimal. This study aimed to investigate HPV vaccination among adolescent girls in these prefectures, evaluate caregivers' knowledge and attitudes, identify factors influencing their willingness to vaccinate their daughters, and examine existing policies to provide evidence-based recommendations for improving vaccination strategies.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as pembrolizumab, have demonstrated substantial therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of cancer. However, immune-related adverse events, including myasthenia gravis (MG), present significant clinical challenges. This study presents the case of a 75-year-old male patient who developed generalized acetylcholine receptor antibody-positive MG following the first infusion of pembrolizumab for cholangiocarcinoma.

However, the currently available research on fungal endophytes, which are great potential resources for glycoside hydrolase biocatalysts, is still insufficient. In this study, endophytic fungi from Epimedium brevicornum Maxim.

Objectives: Wilson's disease (WD) is a rare autosomal recessive inherited disorder characterized by dysregulated copper metabolism, amenable to treatment with chelating agents. It manifests with hepatic and neurological symptoms, often precipitating the development of liver cirrhosis as a prominent complication. This study aims to elucidate the factors, biomarker alterations, and therapeutic modalities influencing the progression of cirrhosis in WD patients.

The genus , commonly found in fermented foods, is a significant group of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) with potential probiotic properties. Several strains have been proposed as probiotics due to their biotechnological capabilities. However, a few strains may exhibit opportunistic pathogenic behavior, which restricts the widespread use of all strains in food applications.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs) are considered a promising choice for energy storage devices owing to the excellent safety and favorable capacity of the Zn anode. However, the uncontrolled dendrite growth of Zn anode severely constrains the practical applications of AZIBs. Herein, a novel ion enrichment layer of CuS is designed and constructed on the Zn foil surface to achieve dendrite-free Zn anode.

Four major genes associated with ALS-SOD1, TARDBP, FUS, and C9orf72-have been identified, with the fused in sarcoma (FUS) gene demonstrating considerable genetic heterogeneity. Our research group has previously established an induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell line harboring the c.

In the field of fringe projection profilometry, phase sensitivity is a critical factor influencing the precision of object measurements. Traditional techniques that employ basic horizontal or vertical fringe projection often do not achieve optimal levels of phase sensitivity. The identification of the fringe angle that exhibits optimal phase sensitivity has been a significant area of research.

Introduction: Acupuncture may help treat diabetes mellitus (DM), diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN), and adjunct therapy for cancer, but the biological mechanisms and immune-related genes involved are unclear; this study aims to clarify these aspects.
Methods: Comprehensive gene expression analysis revealed differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among DM, DPN, and control samples. Key genes from WGCNA were intersected with DEGs and acupuncture targets.
Single-atom catalysts (SACs) have the advantages of good active site uniformity, high atom utilization, and high catalytic activity. However, the study of its controllable synthesis still needs to be thoroughly investigated. In this paper, we deposited Cu SAs on nanoporous N-doped graphene by underpotential deposition and further obtained a Pt SAC by a galvanic process.

-heterocycles with quinoline structures hold significant importance within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. However, achieving their efficient transformations remains a vital yet challenging endeavor. Herein, a series of W-doped GaO-NC catalysts were synthesized using a Ga-MOF-derived strategy through a simple solvothermal method, with a remarkably high activity and selectivity towards the oxidative dehydrogenation of -heterocycles.

Recent advances in low-cost liquid crystal display (LCD) 3D printing have popularized its use in creating microfluidic master molds and complete devices. However, the quality and precision of these fabrications often fall short of the rigorous standards required for advanced microfluidic applications. This study introduces a novel approach to enhance the dimensional accuracy of microchannels produced using a desktop LCD 3D printer.

Situated in the north of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Qaidam Basin experiences limited precipitation and significant evaporation. Despite these conditions, it stands out as one of the most densely distributed lakes in China. The formation of these lakes is controversial: whether the lake water primarily originates from local precipitation or external water sources.

Circadian genes play an important role in the field of drug metabolism. Flavin-containing monooxygenase 3 is a well-known phase I enzyme which participates in metabolism of many exogenous and endogenous substances, especially production of trimethylamine N-oxide. Here, we aimed to decipher diurnal rhythms of flavin-containing monooxygenase 3 expression and activity, and explore the regulation mechanism by clock genes.

However, point cloud registration is challenging in complex situations, such as a large initial pose difference, high noise, or incomplete overlap, which will cause point cloud registration failure or mismatching. To address the shortcomings of the existing registration algorithms, this paper designed a new coarse-to-fine registration two-stage point cloud registration network, CCRNet, which utilizes an end-to-end form to perform the registration task for point clouds.
