Exploring efficient, low-cost, and pH-versatile electrocatalysts for hydrogen precipitation is vital for the development of practical hydrogen production via water electrolysis. However, most existing electrocatalysts suffer from limitations such as high overpotentials, a reliance on expensive noble metals, or poor stability under extreme pH conditions, hindering their practical application. Among the many electrocatalytic materials, transition metal phosphides (TMPs) are considered a promising class of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalytic materials due to their abundant reserves and tunable electronic structures.

Sclerostin (SOST) serves as a pivotal negative regulator of bone formation, and its dysregulated expression is implicated in the pathogenesis of skeletal disorders, including osteoporosis. While substantial progress has been made in elucidating the intracellular signaling pathways activated by SOST, the molecular mechanisms governing its expression remain less well understood. In this study, we identify an RNA G-quadruplex (RG4) secondary structure within the 3' untranslated region (3' UTR) of SOST.

Objective: To compare the pregnancy outcomes of embryo transfer (ET) and frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) after controlling for maternal confounding factors.
Study Design: Descriptive analytical study. Place and Duration of the Study: Reproductive Medicine Centre, Children's Hospital of Shanxi and Women Health Centre of Shanxi, Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, Taiyuan, China, from January 2015 to September 2022.
Background: Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most prevalent digestive tract malignancies, with metastasis being a major contributor to poor prognosis in patients. Fibronectin type III domain-containing 3B (FNDC3B) plays pivotal roles in various tumors, yet its role in GC remains unknown.
Methods: We utilized a GC immunohistochemistry (IHC) chip and specimens to identify high expression of FNDC3B in GC.
Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Osteoporosis is a chronic metabolic bone disorder characterized by excessive bone resorption. The NuanXin Formula (NX) is a classical traditional Chinese medicine formula that can warm and tonify kidney Yang, as well as replenish Qi and blood, which are essential for maintaining bone health and regulating bone metabolism. Nevertheless, the functions and mechanisms of NX in osteoporosis therapy remain unclear.

Summary Background Data: Undetectable occult liver metastasis impair the survival of PDAC. Novel biomarkers are immediately required to detect occult liver metastasis in PDAC.
Non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) belongs to male infertility due to spermatogenesis failure. However, evidence for cell type-specific abnormalities of spermatogenesis disorders in NOA remains lacking. We performed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and single-cell assay for transposase-accessible chromatin sequencing (scATAC-seq) on testicular tissues from patients with obstructive azoospermia (OA) and NOA.

Recently, NaV(PO)F (NVPF) has been increasingly investigated as an SIBs cathode material. However, the development of this cathode material is hindered by low intrinsic electronic conductivity, poor cycling stability at high rates, and low energy density.

However, large-scale, real-world data on its efficacy, especially in patients with overlapping symptoms, are limited. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of cinitapride in Chinese patients with functional dyspepsia, including those with overlapping symptoms, in a real-world setting.

This study focuses on the localized activation of OSM-3, an intraflagellar transport kinesin crucial for the assembly of ciliary distal segments in Caenorhabditis elegans sensory neurons. Fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy unveiled an extended, active conformation of OSM-3 in the ciliary base and middle segments, where OSM-3 is conveyed as cargo by kinesin-II.

Objective: To compare the registration accuracy of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images while registering to virtual craniodentofacial patients based on soft tissue and the dentition registration method.
Methods: Virtual dentofacial patients out of 13 selected participants who needed CBCT scanning were established by impression with a registered-block impression (RBI) based on digital dental images, three-dimensional (3D) facial images and maxillofacial CBCT images. CBCT images were processed in the Mimics software program, establishing the craniofacial virtual patients based on CBCT images (CCTs).

Carrier recombination, which arises from defects present at both the buried interface and throughout the bulk phase, hinders performance improvement in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Nonetheless, the current strategies still face some pressing issues. Herein, we demonstrate a novel synergistic strategy of carbon nitride (CN) as a buried modified layer and a perovskite antisolvent additive to reduce energy loss resulting from nonradiative recombination.

The phloem-limited bacterium Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas) is the primary cause of citrus Huanglongbing (HLB) and is transmitted by the Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are key posttranscriptional regulators involved in various biological processes, yet their role in D. citri's response to CLas infection remains unclear.

Nonetheless, challenges such as the low immunogenicity of tumor antigens, the genetic heterogeneity of tumor cells, and the elevated expression of immune checkpoint molecules frequently result in resistance to immunotherapy or enable immune evasion by tumors. To overcome this resistance, we developed a therapeutic tumor vaccine employing cationic liposomes to encapsulate MC38 total RNA alongside PD-L1 siRNA (siPD-L1).
