The rise of hydrogen energy places stringent demands on the mechanical strength and thermal conductivity of polyamide 6 (PA6) liners used in hydrogen storage tanks. However, the presence of weak interfaces in PA6 composites significantly hinders the efficient transfer of the intrinsic mechanical and thermal conductivity properties of the reinforcing phases. In this work, hydroxyl-functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNT-OH) were covalently grafted onto graphene oxide (GO) to construct a hybrid nanofiller, which was subsequently surface-functionalized with hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), yielding a reactive nanofiller (fGO + CNT-OH + HDI) rich in isocyanate groups.

Background: Neuroblastoma (NB) is the most common extracranial solid tumor in children, with high-risk NB (HR-NB) exhibiting dismal survival rates due to aggressive biology and therapy resistance. E2F transcription factors (E2Fs) are pivotal regulators of cell cycle progression and immune modulation, yet their prognostic and therapeutic implications in NB remain underexplored.

Methods: Using transcriptomic data from the GEO, TARGET, and E-MTAB-8248 cohorts, we identified E2F-associated molecular subtypes via consensus clustering.

The prevalence of Parkinson's disease (PD) is increasing due to the aging population. Early diagnosis and prognosis of PD remain challenging, suggesting that seeking appropriate biomarkers for PD is crucial. Glycoprotein nonmetastatic melanoma protein B (GPNMB) and alpha-synuclein (α-syn) have been reported to contribute to PD pathogenesis and are correlated with PD onset and disease progression.

Lower respiratory tract infections (LRITs), including community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), are the fifth leading cause of death worldwide over the last ten years, posing a serious threat to global healthcare. Conventional laboratory assays for detecting pathogens are hindered by complicated procedures, a long turnaround time and a lack of multiplex detection capabilities. In this study, a flap-endonuclease 1 (FEN1)-assisted loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method was designed, and an assay based on this method was developed to identify three leading pathogens for CAP, namely, , and .

Over the past decade, metabolomic research in livestock and poultry has gained considerable momentum; however, quail metabolomics still lags behind that of livestock species such as chickens, pigs, and cattle. Quails are important models due to their low-cost protein sources-both eggs and meat-and practical benefits such as minimal space requirements, high egg production, disease resistance, and rapid reproduction. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically understand the effects of various factors on quail metabolism to provide a theoretical basis for accurate feeding and breeding practices.

The effects of balanced fertilization with nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK) on foxtail millet productivity and the soil environment under the same conditions of total nutrients have received limited research attention. Therefore, in this study, three balanced fertilization patterns of 27-14-10 (T1), 27-17-7 (T2), and 30-10-11 (T3), and one no fertilization treatment (CK), a total of four treatments, were set up through a two-year field experiment to study the effects of balanced fertilization patterns on foxtail millet yield and soil environment. Mantel analysis was conducted to reveal the correlation between soil environmental factors and the community and their contribution to productivity.

To overcome the problems of easy aggregation, poor reproducibility and homogeneity of metal nanosols, a SERS substrate with good sensitivity, homogeneity and reproducibility was designed and prepared for the detection of disease markers in urine. Silver nanocubes (Ag NCs) were firstly prepared and then dispersed in cationic cellulose (C-CNF) to form a homogeneous gel, which was dropped on a filter paper to develop a substrate with good SERS activity. This substrate combines the superior SERS properties of Ag NCs with the stability of C-CNF and has a minimum detection concentration of 10 M for R6G.
