Background: Dynamic changes in maternal blood pressure influence neonatal birth weight however, studies investigating the association between blood pressure trajectories during pregnancy and low birth weight (LBW) remain limited. This study aims to identify maternal blood pressure trajectories based on three time points using group-based trajectory modeling (GBTM) and explore their association with LBW.

Methods: This study was based on the NHANES 2005-2006 database and included 330 pregnant women meeting the eligibility criteria (41 cases in the LBW group and 289 in the control group).

Multiple coherent radiations are achieved in a water-3-aminopropanol (3AP) mixed solution through cascaded four-wave mixing (C-FWM) and cascaded Stokes (C-Stokes) processes, both driven by stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in this work. The O-H vibration peak from water is replaced by the emergence of the -NH symmetric stretching Raman peaks from 3AP, with intensity approaching that of the -CH symmetric stretching peak. The dual-wavelength SRS signals for the -NH and -CH stretching vibrations have a relatively small frequency interval of about 400 cm (16 nm).

Based on the generative adversarial network (GAN), we present a multifunctional X-ray tomographic protocol for artifact correction, noise suppression, and super-resolution of reconstruction. The protocol mainly consists of a data preprocessing module and multifunctional GAN-based loss function simultaneously dealing with ring artifacts and super-resolution. The experimental protocol removes ring artifacts and improves the contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and spatial resolution (SR) of reconstructed images successfully, which shows the capability to adaptively rectify ring artifacts with varying intensities and types while achieving super-resolution.

Sustainable photocatalysis can effectively reduce the radioactive TcO to less soluble TcO·HO(s), but the reduction efficiency is highly susceptible to coexisting nitrate (NO). Here, we quantitatively investigate photocatalytic remediation conditions for Tc-contaminated water stimulated by the analogue perrhenate (ReO) in the presence of NO, and we elucidate the influence mechanism of NO by in situ characterizations. The interfering NO can compete with Re(VII) for the carbonyl radical (·CO) produced by formic acid (HCOOH) oxidation to generate nitrogen-containing products such as NH, NO, and NO, resulting in the decrease in the Re(VII) reduction ratio.

The stress state of the primary circuit main pipeline is very complex mixed constant stress and periodic cyclic stress during the operation of nuclear power plants, which often affects the failure behavior of the stainless steel (SS) pipe. The fatigue behavior of 304LN SS under mixed constant stress and cyclic stress was investigated, and it was found that the coupling effect of constant stress and cyclic stress has a significant collaborative acceleration on the fatigue behavior. The research results showed that the cracks in the 304LN SS did not propagate even after 78 days under both constant load conditions of 5 KN and 7.

Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol (THFA), a widely applied raw materials, intermediate and solvent in the fields of agricultural, industry (especially in nuclear industry), is a potentially hazardous and non-biodegradable pollutant in wastewater. In this study, the electrochemical degradation pathways of THFA by a boron-doped diamond (BDD) anode with different current density (j = 20, 40 and 60 mA cm) and electrolyte solution (KNO, KCl and KSO) was carefully investigated. The results exhibit that high chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal and mineralization rates were achieved by rapid non-selective oxidation in electrolyte solutions mediated by hydroxyl radicals (∙OH) and active chlorine (sulfate) under constant current electrolysis.
