However, analytical challenges remain for pediatric cancer on the scope and precision of the current classifiers as well as the evolving subtype standardization. To address these challenges, we built Cancer Identification or CanID, a stacked ensemble machine learning classification scheme, using the transcriptomic features derived from gene-level RNA sequencing count data as the sole input.

(2025) in pediatric solid tumors are confounded by circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and enrichment for Hispanic or Latino ancestry, respectively. We suggest that future germline studies should ensure analyses of tumor-in-normal contamination for non-polymorphic markers and careful examination of population stratification for polymorphic markers to ensure clinical relevance.

The results show that the method based on principal components (PCs) can effectively correct atmospheric turbulence induced phase distortions, whether the Kolmogorov spectrum is satisfied or not. The PCs showed higher sensitivity on key terms than Zernike polynomials (ZPs).

In this study, we discovered that epidermal growth factor (EGF) regulates the expression and activity of OAT3 through palmitoylation, a novel mechanism that has never been described in the OAT field. Our results showed that treatment of OAT3-expressing cells with EGF led to a ~40% increase in OAT3 expression and OAT3-mediated transport of estrone sulfate, a prototypical substrate for OAT3.

Introduction: Although mobility has been identified as a significant risk factor adversely affecting mental health and well-being, the mechanisms underlying this association remain insufficiently understood. Unlike traditional linear regression approaches, this study applies network analysis to systematically explore how multiple family risk factors collectively affect problem behaviors in migrant and urban preschoolers.
Methods: A total of 1,469 children (500 urban, 959 migrant) and their parents were recruited.

Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics and genetic etiology of a patient with Weiss-Kruszka syndrome (WSKA).
Methods: A male patient presented with primary infertility for 1 year post-marriage, intellectual disability, and blepharoptosis at Huzhou Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital from October to December 2024 was selected as the study subject. Peripheral blood samples were collected from the patient and his family members.
Objective: This study used latent profile analysis to explore latent profiles of parental coparenting quality and their relationships with children's prosocial behavior, and to examine the mediating role of children's emotion regulation abilities.
Methods: A sevenmonth longitudinal survey was conducted with 496 father-mother-child triads (fathers: M = 36.95, SD = 4.
This paper presents a numerical investigation into the effects of various parameters on the supercavitating flow field structure. Using the Delayed Detached Eddy Simulation (DES) method, the supercavitation flow was analyzed in detail, and the reliability of the numerical approach was verified through comparison with experimental results. The effects of cavitator rudder angle, cavitator diameter, aft-body shape, angle of attack, and tail fins on the supercavity morphology and flow field structure were explored under different simulation conditions.

Current therapies for HCC include surgical resection, local ablation, chemoembolization, liver transplantation, and molecular-targeted therapy. Only a small number of patients are detected in the early stage, and most patients are diagnosed at the time of the middle and late stages, thus losing the opportunity for surgical treatment, which is an essential reason for the high mortality of HCC patients.

The rational design of electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbers relies on precise conductivity control, yet conventional trial-and-error methods fail to efficiently explore the multidimensional synthesis parameter space of two-dimensional organic metal chalcogenides (2D OMCs). Here, we propose a machine learning framework that deciphers the nonlinear relationships between synthetic parameters and electrical conductivity in 2D OMCs, enabling quantitative predictions for targeted EMW absorber design. The trained model achieves 86% accuracy in three-level conductivity classification (I: <10 S/m, II: 10-10 S/m, III: >10 S/m), significantly outperforming empirical approaches.

Here we show that this mutation-based approach can be confounded by gene expression differences in tumor and normal cells which co-exist in most bulk tumor samples. We modeled mutant allele expression by incorporating tumor/normal expression difference, mutant allele dosage, tumor purity, and nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) efficiency, projecting that the enrichment can occur without ASE.

The wide range of optical planes in underwater laser imaging results in the presence of a large number of noisy light bars in the background region. Since the shape and intensity of these noisy light bars are very similar to the target information, it is difficult to detect and eliminate them accurately. In this paper, a deep learning algorithm named YOLOv8-FWR is proposed, which can effectively improve the efficiency and quality of underwater laser imaging by combining with laser scanning imaging equipment.

However, the role of soil-water interface in controlling N2O emissions remains poorly understood. We hypothesized that the millimeter-scale redox gradient across the soil-water interface generates corresponding distinct niche for N-cycling microorganisms that collectively regulate the production and consumption of N2O over the same spatial scale.

However, its effectiveness is limited against carcinoma cells with low HER2 expression (HER2-low). Here, we demonstrate that targeting autophagy enhances the cytotoxicity of T-DM1 against HER2-low SGC7901 cells, highlighting the potential of autophagy modulation in improving T-DM1-based therapies for HER2-low carcinomas.

A total of 288 aged laying hens, 50-week-old, were divided into four groups: a normal diet (ND) group, and three naringin groups receiving 200 mg/kg (N1), 400 mg/kg (N2), and 600 mg/kg (N3). The experiment lasted for 10 weeks, after which serum, liver, and cecal contents were collected from the hens.
