Accelerating the rate-limiting surface Fe(III)/Fe(II) redox cycling is pivotal for efficient iron-mediated Fenton-like decontamination, yet conventional reductants (e.g., toxic hydroxylamine, thiosulfate) suffer from secondary toxicity, self-quenching, and heavy metal leaching.

This study aimed to develop and validate a nomogram for predicting 30-day outcomes in patients with unruptured VBDAs undergoing EVT.
Methods: This retrospective study included 606 patients with unruptured VBDAs who underwent EVT at 10 institutions between January 2015 and April 2025, with 491 in the training cohort and 115 in the validation cohort.

With the widespread adoption of machine learning cloud platforms, concerns over potential privacy risks in model training algorithms have grown. Attackers can exploit these platforms by deploying malicious algorithms to execute correlation value encoding attacks (CVEA). This attack mainly leverages the model's huge capacity for memorization, covertly embedding training data into the model's parameters.

Building upon previous efforts to construct spatiotemporal fetal brain MRI atlases, we present the CRL-2025 fetal brain atlas, which is a spatiotemporal (4D) atlas of the developing fetal brain between 21 and 37 gestational weeks. This atlas is constructed from carefully processed MRI scans of 160 fetuses with typically-developing brains using a diffeomorphic deformable registration framework integrated with kernel regression on age.

However, the poor interfacial Li transport kinetics and Li dendrite growth inhibit SSLMBs, leading to sluggish interfacial ion diffusion and depressive lifespan, which is attributed to high barriers blocked by anions or interface space in solid-state electrolytes. Herein, a flexible solid-state polymer skeleton employed with ionic liquid and metal-organic frameworks (PIM) electrolyte is proposed to strengthen interfacial Li ion exchange by improving the Li sieving effect and interfacial wettability.

A growing body of evidence has established a close association between obesity and bone metabolism. The body roundness index (BRI), a novel anthropometric parameter, has demonstrated superior predictive capability for estimating both visceral fat percentage and total body fat percentage when compared with traditional measures such as Body Mass Index (BMI) and waist circumference. However, there is a paucity of research exploring the relationship between BRI and bone mineral density (BMD).

EHE can arise in any part of the body, most commonly in the liver, lungs, and skeleton, while occurrence in the blood vessels of the extremities is rare. This article reports a rare case of primary epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) of the right femoral artery.

Preoperative computed tomography (CT) prediction of vascular invasion in NSCLC is essential for clinical identification of high-risk patients and development of treatment strategies. This study aimed to develop and validate a model for predicting LVI in NSCLC based on clinical and CT features.

Metal selenides have garnered significant attention as promising anode candidates due to their high theoretical capacities, yet their practical application is hampered by intrinsic issues such as large volume expansion, poor electrical conductivity, and structural pulverization during cycling. Engineering the microstructure of metal selenides offers a powerful avenue to overcome these limitations and unlock their full electrochemical potential.

Lipid metabolic reprogramming, which has been observed in various tumors, could participate in tumor occurrence, invasion, and metastasis of tumors by regulating various carcinogenic signaling pathways. However, the molecular mechanism that regulates tumor cell lipid metabolic reprogramming has not been fully elucidated.

Background: Hirschsprung disease (HSCR) is a relatively common disorder in pediatric surgery, characterized by the absence of enteric ganglion cells due to defective colonization of enteric neural crest cells (ENCCs) in the intestine. This study aims to investigate alterations in the intestinal microenvironment, focusing on the tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2 (TFPI2) as a potential pathogenic factor.
Methods: Transcriptomic datasets from HSCR patients and fetal mouse intestines were analyzed to identify candidate genes.

Background: Improvements in patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) scores have been widely documented after posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (PCLR). Establishing clinically significant outcome (CSO) benchmarks for PROMs can enhance their clinical applicability.
Purpose: To establish the minimal clinically important difference (MCID), substantial clinical benefit (SCB), and patient acceptable symptomatic state (PASS) for PROMs after primary PCLR and identify the predictors of achieving them.

Ventricular arrhythmias following myocardial infarction (MI) remain a leading cause of sudden cardiac death, yet therapeutic options are limited by incomplete understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing post-infarction arrhythmogenesis. While RNA-binding proteins have emerged as critical regulators of cardiovascular pathophysiology, their role in cardiac electrophysiology remains largely unexplored. Here, we demonstrate that cold- inducible RNA-binding protein (CIRP) functions as a critical regulator of ventricular arrhythmia susceptibility through post-transcriptional control of cardiac ion channels.

Nuclear lamins are type V intermediate filament proteins to support the mechanical stability of mammalian cell nucleus. They also participate in various signaling activities in the cells. We recently discovered substituted pyrroloquinazoline LBL1 as the first small molecule to directly target nuclear lamins despite their poor druggability.

In order to extend the shelf life of food especially under sunlight, a synergistic dual-component reinforcement strategy of graphene (graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide aerogel microspheres) and TiCT MXene was applied as fillers in gelatin (GL) matrix. After simultaneous mechanical stirring and ultrasonication, followed by an ultrasonic cell grinding treatment process, the uniform dispersion and full exfoliation of both kinds of fillers in the GL matrix were ensured through the green synthesis method, which effectively enhanced the antibacterial, mechanical, ultraviolet-visible light barrier, and antioxidant properties of GL. Among these fillers, graphene (GE)/TiCT showed the best enhancing effect because GE had more complete graphene rings with greater extent of sp2-hybridized carbons as well as more edges.

Methods: Starting at three months of age, rTg4510 mice and wild-type littermates received semaglutide (0.
Water distribution networks (WDNs) constitute essential urban infrastructure, yet their monitoring is hindered by limited monitoring conditions. Soft sensing methods have been applied to estimate pressure at unmonitored nodes using the latest deep learning models, however, they rely on large datasets from the same WDNs for training. There is a critical gap in pressure estimation of WDNs under realistic monitoring limitations.

It is particularly important to ensure the safety of engineering structures, such as aerospace vehicles and wind turbines, most of which are made of composite materials. A sudden failure of the structure may happen following the accumulation of structural damage. Since they are sensitive to tiny damage and can propagate through engineering structures over a long distance, Lamb waves have been widely explored to develop highly efficient damage detection theories and methodologies.
