Background: Determining the triglyceride‒glucose (TyG) index’s relationship to coronary lesions in patients with low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) targes will inform precision management of cardiovascular disease.
Methods: This retrospective cohort included 821 enrolled patients with LDL-C levels < 2.6 mmol/L who underwent coronary angiography at the Department of Cardiology, Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from January 2016 to February 2024.
Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) disproportionately affects elderly populations, raising concerns about balancing efficacy and safety in anticoagulation therapy.
Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of various anticoagulants in elderly AF patients through a systematic review and network meta-analysis.
Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, and Web of Science for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) up to September 10, 2024, involving AF patients aged 75 years and older.

TCM is the core and basis of traditional medicine in clinical practice for numerous diseases, and performs important function in nutraceuticals and dietary supplements. However, it is extremely difficult to extract each active ingredient from TCM to elucidate the mechanism of TCM clinical efficacy due to numerous compounds in TCM, especially trace compounds.

Porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus (PEDV), a pathogenic microorganism that induces epidemic diarrhoea in swine, causes substantial economic damage to swine-farming nations. To prevent and control PEDV infections, the availability of upgraded and rapid virus detection techniques is crucial. The clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-CRISPR-associated protein (Cas)13a system, namely, programmability of CRISPR RNA (crRNA) and "collateral" promiscuous RNase activity of Cas13a after target RNA identification.

Cancer immunotherapy has emerged as a novel therapeutic approach against tumors, with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) making significant clinical practice. The traditional ICIs, PD-1 and PD-L1, augment the cytotoxic function of T cells through the inhibition of tumor immune evasion pathways, ultimately leading to the initiation of an antitumor immune response. However, the clinical implementation of ICIs encounters obstacles stemming from the existence of an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and inadequate infiltration of CD8T cells.

However, there has been no research on the chemical components of DHLP and the mechanisms by which it ameliorates rheumatoid arthritis. Hence, we analysed the chemical components of DHLP and the DHLP components absorbed in blood by using ultraperformance liquid chromatography-Q-exactive-orbitrap-mass spectrometry.

In this study, morphological identification and high-throughput sequencing technology were used to comprehensively analyze the AMF community composition and diversity at different succession stages of Songnen saline-alkali grassland. To determine the root colonization status of plants collected in the field, a colonization system was established using late-succession plants as host plants to verify the existence of mycorrhizal symbiosis and the matching phenomenon of AMF in Songnen saline-alkali grassland.

As a typical and broad-spectrum benzimidazole, mebendazole (MBZ) has long been used in human and veterinary medicine to treat parasitic infestations, and is widely employed in the aquaculture of Japanese pufferfish (). However, there have been no studies examining the pharmacokinetic characteristics of MBZ in Japanese pufferfish. Furthermore, the presence of MBZ and its metabolites in animal-derived raw food represents a notable safety concern.
