Dual-signal-output ratiometric electrochemiluminescence (ECL) platforms offer a promising solution to address the instability and inaccuracies associated with single-signal ECL detection. However, most existing ratiometric systems still rely on two independent luminophores, inevitably increasing the system complexity and compromising the detection accuracy. In this study, a bimetallic dual-ligand ECL luminophore, Ce/Tb-MOF, was synthesized via a solvothermal approach, exhibiting distinct anodic and cathodic ECL emissions from a single luminophore.

butterflies recognize host Brassicaceae plants via sensing glucosinolates, but the molecular mechanism remains unclear. Here, we cloned five gustatory receptor genes highly expressed in larval mouthparts, adult foreleg tarsi, and the proboscis of and then ectopically expressed each of them in neurons of and determined responses of the neurons to glucosinolates. Among them, only > neurons respond to gluconapin dose-dependently.

The high variability of ALD and renin due to salt intake, age, and sex, as well as the lack of immunoassay standardization necessitates the establishment of region-, age-, sex- and assay-specific reference intervals (RIs). This study established RIs for ALD and renin using novel sandwich chemiluminescent immunoassays.

Despite its clinical significance, limited efforts have been made to develop survival prediction models tailored to the clinical characteristics of C-SCLC patients. Additionally, the interpretability of existing models remains limited.

Our aim is to develop and validate novel CAR-T cell therapy against metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC).
Methods: By analyzing the expression of B7-H3 in CRC tissue and cell lines using immunohistochemistry (IHC) and flow cytometry, respectively, we identified B7-H3 as a potential target in CRC.
"Xiannuoxin" (simnotrelvir/ritonavir) is a novel anti-severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) drug developed in China, which plays an antiviral role by inhibiting 3C-like protease (3CL). At present, it has been put into clinical use, while a simple, accurate and sensitive detection method is urgently needed for the quantification of simnotrelvir/ritonavir in human serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) to ensure safe and efficacious antiviral therapeutics. In this study, we developed a liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrophotometry (LC-MS/MS) method for the simultaneous determination of simnotrelvir, ritonavir and urea concentrations in human serum and BALF samples.

These molecules harness T cells to bind to and eliminate cancer cells, effectively bypassing the need for antigen-specific T cell recognition. Despite their established clinical efficacy, a subset of patients is either refractory to TCE treatment (e.

Methods: 1222 healthy individuals were recruited from four hospitals in northern China. The levels of serum HCY-related metabolites were measured by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
Sex pheromone communication is an essential component of mate recognition in moths. In this study, we heterologously expressed male-biased pheromone receptors (PRs) of diamondback moths, in OR67d neurons and determined their responses toward sex pheromonal compounds. The neurons expressing PxylOR59, PxylOR13, and PxylOR46 specifically responded to three sex pheromone components, Z11-16:Ald, Z11-16:Ac, and Z11-16:OH, respectively.

Drug combination therapy plays a vital role in disease treatment, including cancer, as it contributes to treatment efficacy and can alleviate the effect of drug resistance. Although clinical trials and screening may provide valuable information about synergistic drug combinations, they suffer from challenging combinatorial space. Multiple methods are proposed to address those issues.

Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a progressive cerebrovascular disorder that increases the risk of intracranial ischemia and hemorrhage. Timely diagnosis and intervention can significantly reduce the risk of new-onset stroke in patients with MMD. However, the current diagnostic methods are invasive and expensive, and non-invasive diagnosis using biomarkers of MMD is rarely reported.

The sludge type is critical for DMF metabolism, with acclimatized aerobic sludge having a significant advantage in terms of DMF metabolism performance, whereas acclimatized anaerobic sludge has a reduced DMF metabolism capacity. Metagenomic revealed increased abundances of Methanosarcina, Pelomona and Xanthobacter in the adapted anaerobic sludge, suggesting that anaerobic sludge can utilize the methyl products produced by DMF metabolism for growth.
