High order Interaction and Wavelet Convolution Network for visible infrared person reidentification.

Visible-infrared person re-identification (VI-ReID) remains a challenging task due to significant cross-modal discrepancies and poor image quality. While existing methods predominantly employ deep and complex neural networks to extract shared cross-modal features, these approaches inevitably discard critical primitive features during high-level feature abstraction. To address this limitation, we propose the High-order Interaction and Wavelet Convolution Network (HIW-Net) that systematically integrates primitive features at multiple feature interaction stages, thereby compensating for information loss in High-order representations.

Novel HIV-1 fusion peptide immunogens using glycan-engineered alphavirus-like particles.

Unlabelled: Immunofocusing on conserved, subdominant epitopes is critical for vaccines against highly diverse viruses such as HIV-1, influenza, and SARS-CoV-2. We developed new FP immunogens using three alphavirus-like particles (VLPs) and introduced additional glycans to mask shared carrier-specific epitopes.

This study originally introduces a dynamic online shopping customer satisfaction index model and devises a new text mining algorithm to quantify online reviews, testing and analyzing the model to reveal the intrinsic mechanism and evolutionary characteristics of online shopping customer satisfaction. Findings reveal disparities between the online shopping customer satisfaction index model and the American customer satisfaction index model.

In this study, bacteriophages that specifically bind to the calcium-binding protein (EtCab) of Eimeria tenella were selected using a biopanning process with a pIII phage display library. The recombinant EtCab protein served as the ligand in this selection process.

While large-scale vegetation greening in China has substantially influenced global vegetation dynamics, the specific impact of this restoration on water use efficiency (WUE) remained inadequately understood. This study employed both the Geodetector and structural equation modeling (SEM) methods, utilizing the Lund-Potsdam-Jena (LPJ) Global Dynamic Vegetation Model, to explore the contributions of various driving factors to China's potential vegetation WUE from 1982 to 2019. The results indicated: (1) there existed considerable further potential for vegetation recovery nationwide.
