Nanozyme-based therapies have shown substantial promise in antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer applications. The success of nanozymes in these areas largely depends on strategies such as chemical modification, ligand coupling, or carrier encapsulation, which enhance their in vivo stability and catalytic activity. Hydrogels, characterized by their soft, water-swollen three-dimensional (3D) networks, possess unique features such as biodegradability, tunable physicochemical properties, and injectability.

Acetylcholinesterase has emerged as a compelling biomarker for optical imaging of tissue apoptosis. Existing AChE-targeted imaging approaches rely heavily on fluorescent probes, whose performance is often hindered by autofluorescence, light scattering, phototoxicity, photobleaching, and limited in vivo accuracy. Bioluminescence imaging, an intrinsic light-emitting modality that requires no external excitation, overcomes these limitations while offering superior sensitivity and applicability in living systems.

Nevertheless, the underlying origins of the severe shuttle effect in Mg-S batteries remain unclear, significantly limiting improvements in their electrochemical performance. Herein, insufficient MgS conversion kinetics is identified as the primary cause of the shuttle effect in Mg-S batteries.

ANCA-vasculitis (AAV) is a small-vessel vasculitis characterized by the presence of autoantibodies against proteinase-3 (PR3) or myeloperoxidase (MPO). The dynamics of the T-cell response within tissues is studied best in animal models. It was the aim to analyze the lesional T-cell dynamics in the experimental autoimmune vasculitis model.

However, the molecular mechanisms underlying CRC development and progression have not been fully elucidated until now. Emerging studies have shown that post-translational modifications of proteins, especially ubiquitination modifications, play an important role in tumorigenesis and progression.

Plant-parasitic nematodes (PPNs), among the most destructive plant pathogens, have evolved innovated traits required for plant parasitism, yet the genetic basis remains unclear. Here, we identify PPN lineage-specific genes (PPNLSGs) and analyze the large-scale protein interactome of their encoded proteins (PPNLSPs).

The increasing demand for high-performance OLED emitters with ultra-narrow emission spectrum and enhanced operational stability has highlighted the urgent need for a dedicated, multi-scale computational framework tailored to OLED-specific challenges. This review proposes a systematic AI-driven framework that combines quantum chemistry calculations, property prediction models, and generative algorithms to enable high-throughput screening and inverse design workflows for organic luminescent materials.

Bioprosthetic heart valves have emerged as a preferred option for heart valve replacement due to their superior hemodynamic performance and reduced need for lifelong anticoagulation. However, their long-term durability is compromised by calcification, immunogenicity, and structural degeneration, primarily due to glutaraldehyde fixation and residual xenogeneic antigens.

Gene therapy offers a promising avenue for targeted intervention, and recent advances in multi-omics approaches-including genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenetics-are enhancing the precision and efficacy of these therapies. High-throughput sequencing and integrative omics analyses have facilitated the identification of causal genes, non-coding RNAs, and epigenetic regulators involved in vascular pathology.

Gastric cancer (GC), a malignant neoplasm originating in the stomach epithelium, is characterized by substantial global incidence and mortality rates, posing a substantial threat to public health systems worldwide. The present study was designed to identify and validate a previously unannotated protein encoded by circular RNA (circRNA), with the principal objective of elucidating its functional significance and mechanistic basis in gastric carcinogenesis.CircUBE2G1 (hsa_circ_003239) was identified as a translationally active circRNA exhibiting significant downregulation in gastric cancer.

On the basis of importance that China attaches to the construction of ecological civilization and green development, this study analyzes the impact of digital economy development on ecological resilience by using the panel data of 286 cities at the prefecture level and above in China from 2011 to 2022. The results showed that the development of the digital economy could significantly improve the ecological resilience, and this result still held after a series of robustness tests. Furthermore, the enhancement effect of digital economy development on ecological resilience had a non-linear feature of marginal increase.

However, the genetic basis underlying this trait in chrysanthemum remains largely unclear. In this study, we utilized the prostrate-type (tetraploid), the erect-type (tetraploid), and their 199 F hybrid progenies to construct a high-density genetic linkage map through genotyping-by-sequencing.

Background And Objective: Acyclovir is a primary treatment for central nervous system (CNS) infections caused by herpes simplex virus (HSV) and varicella-zoster virus (VZV). However, patient outcomes remain suboptimal, despite acyclovir treatment. Given the lack of alternative therapies, there is a pressing clinical need to revisit acyclovir dosing for viral encephalitis.

Microbial communities in aquaculture ponds play a vital role in regulating water quality, driving nutrient cycling, and maintaining ecological balance. In 2023, we conducted a study to evaluate how feeding affects microbial communities by comparing the microbial composition and water quality in both fed and unfed aquaculture ponds. Metagenomic sequencing indicated that feeding significantly elevated the relative abundance of bacteria within the microbial community.

However, the certified efficiencies of reported perovskite-organic tandem solar cells remain lower than those of single-junction perovskite solar cells, primarily because of insufficient near-infrared photocurrent in narrow-bandgap organic subcells. Here we design and synthesize an asymmetric non-fullerene acceptor (NFA), P2EH-1V, featuring a unilateral conjugated π-bridge to reduce the optical bandgap to 1.
