Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Pest and Disease Control of Featured Horticultural Plants, College of Life Sciences, Gannan Normal University, Ganzhou 341000, China. Electronic address:

The diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella), a globally destructive pest, has Brassicaceae as its long-term co-evolved host and can also utilize Fabaceae as an alternative field host. The primary differential factor between these plant families is glucosinolates (GLs). Conventional transcriptome data revealed high midgut expression of glucosinolate sulfatases (GSSs) in response to glucosinolates.

The Age-Associated Long Noncoding RNA lnc81 Regulates Ovarian Granulosa Cell Proliferation and Apoptosis Through TEAD2-CCN1/2 Pathway in Mice.

J Cell Physiol

September 2025

Jiangxi Province Key Laboratory of Immunology and Inflammation, Department of Clinical Laboratory, The Second Affiliated Hospital, Jiangxi Medical College, Nanchang University, Nanchang, China.

Ovarian granulosa cells (GCs) are pivotal for follicular homeostasis, and their dysregulated apoptosis drives age-related ovarian aging. The Hippo signaling pathway, modulated by long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), is implicated in regulating GCs proliferation and ovarian aging. TEAD2 (Transcriptional Enhanced Associate Domain 2), a key downstream transcription factor of the Hippo signaling pathway, plays a critical role in regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and embryonic stem cell self-renewal.

Although improving the charging cutoff voltage is an effective strategy to increase its capacity, LiCoO ("LCO") undergoes rapid capacity decay due to severe structural and interface degradations at high voltages. Herein, we proposed a multifunctional surface modification by coating nano-sized entropy materials (Li-La-Ti-Zr-Co-O, Nano-MEO). Nano-MEO rivets were constructed on the surface of LCO, which stabilized the fragile surface.

The global surge in the population of people 60 years and older, including that in China, challenges healthcare systems with rising age-related diseases. To address this demographic change, the Aging Biomarker Consortium (ABC) has launched the X-Age Project to develop a comprehensive aging evaluation system tailored to the Chinese population. Our goal is to identify robust biomarkers and construct composite aging clocks that capture biological age, defined as an individual's physiological and molecular state, across diverse Chinese cohorts.

Herein, organic/inorganic multiple adsorption sites were constructed on halloysite to intensify the selective adsorption performance of the adsorbent for Al(III) in rare earth solutions. The adsorption heat behavior and thermodynamics of the composite for different ion systems were investigated using microcalorimetry. The results showed that chitosan formed a mesoporous membrane on the acid-treated calcined halloysite (HalH) substrate through a strong electron interaction between the nitrogen atom of the amino group and the oxygen atom of SiO structure on HalH.

Effective removal of ethylene (CH) during fruit and vegetables storage and transport remains a critical challenge for post-harvest preservation. Although S-scheme heterojunctions can improve charge separation and redox capacity for ethylene degradation, their efficiency is still restricted by limited carrier transfer and sluggish oxygen activation. Here, we rationally designed a novel 2D/2D SnNbO/BiMoO monolayer S-scheme heterojunction integrated with Pt co-catalyst to address these limitations.

Metabolic synergy between astrocytes and neurons is key to maintaining normal brain function. As the main supporting cells in the brain, astrocytes work closely with neurons through intercellular metabolic synergy networks to jointly regulate energy metabolism, lipid metabolism, synaptic transmission, and cerebral blood flow. This important synergy is often disrupted in neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and stroke.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) exhibit outstanding structural tunability, clearly defined ion pathways, and remarkable thermal/chemical stabilities, rendering them highly promising candidates for applications in solid-state electrolytes. However, it remains a challenge to develop a versatile method to incorporate both ionic groups and electron-withdrawing units into a single framework for effectively improving the lithium-ion conductivity. Herein, a series of novel [3+3] defective COFs is successfully synthesized featuring active amine/aldehyde anchoring sites for subsequent post-modification, and regulates the ion conductivity through elaborately tuning the anionic/cationic groups and weak/strong electron-withdrawing units.

We report a glycosyl radical-based, 1,2-trans-selective synthesis of C-aryl glycosides of 2-deoxy-2-amino-sugars from glycals via photoredox PCET/Ni dual catalysis. Mechanistic studies indicate that glycosyl radical formation involves the generation of an N-radical through a proton-coupled electron transfer (PCET) process, followed by its addition to the glycal. This protocol features: a) the use of an inexpensive organic photosensitizer and readily available glycals and aryl bromides; b) good functional group tolerance for both aryl bromides and glycal substrates; c) excellent diastereoselectivity, with exclusive formation of the 1,2-trans C-glycosides in all cases.
