In this study, a ternary composite material composed of CoFeO@SiO nanospheres and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) was successfully synthesized through a facile route. The composites exhibited a layered "sandwich" structure, where CoFeO@SiO nanospheres were anchored onto the surface of RGO nanosheets. The microstructure and electromagnetic wave absorption properties of the synthesized CoFeO@SiO/RGO were systematically investigated.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide, with the efficacy of current targeted therapies limited by drug resistance and adverse effects. The receptor tyrosine kinase c-MET has been identified as a promising target for HCC therapy due to its involvement in tumor progression, metastasis, and poor prognosis. However, no c-MET inhibitors have been approved for HCC treatment.

China has experienced a substantial reduction in PM concentrations since the enforcement of the "Air Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan (APPCAP)". However, surafce ozone (O) levels and the resulting threats to agriculture have intensified. To further mitigate PM pollution, the government promulgated the "Three-Year (2018-2020) Action Plan for Winning the Blue Sky Defense Battle" (the Blue Sky Defense Battle).

Advanced oxidation processes offer bright potential for eliminating organic pollutants from wastewater, where the development of efficient catalysts revolves around deep understanding of the microstructure-property-performance relationship. In this study, we explore how microstructural engineering influences the catalytic performance of nanoporous copper (NPC) in degrading organic contaminants. By systematically tailoring the NPC microstructure, we achieve tunable three-dimensional porous architectures with nanoscale pores and macroscopic grains.

Multifunctional water-treatment materials urgently need to be developed to avoid normal organic matter, inorganic anions, resistant bacteria, and hazardous disinfection by-products in conventional drinking water treatment strategies. While quaternary ammonium pyridine resins (QAPRs) possess porous adsorption structures and incorporate antibacterial groups, enabling simultaneous water disinfection and purification, their limited bactericidal efficacy hinders broader utilization. Therefore, a deeper understanding of the structure-dependent antimicrobial mechanism in QAPRs is crucial for improving their antibacterial performance.

Although large language models (LLMs) have flourished in various scientific applications, their applications in the specific task of molecular property prediction have not reached a satisfactory level, even for the specific chemistry LLMs. This work addresses a highly crucial and significant challenge existing in the field of drug discovery: accurately predicting the molecular properties by effectively leveraging LLMs enhanced with profound domain knowledge. We propose a Knowledge-Fused Large Language Model for dual-Modality (KFLM2) learning for molecular property prediction.

Incomplete multi-view clustering (IMVC) is an unsupervised technique for clustering multi-view data when some view information is absent. However, most existing IMVC methods usually suffer from several significant challenges: (1) Inaccurate imputation or padding of missing data degrades clustering performance; (2) The ability to extract view features may decrease due to low-quality views, especially those that are inaccurately imputed. To overcome these challenges, in this paper, we introduce a novel IMVC framework, called soft label collaborative view consistency enhancement (SLC_CE).

The HIV-1 capsid protein (CA) is essential for viral replication and serves as a validated antiviral drug target. Traditional purification of CA relies on multi-step chromatographic protocols, which are time-consuming and labor-intensive. In this study, we established a rapid, column-free purification strategy using a cleavable self-aggregating tag (cSAT) to produce functional wild-type CA protein from E.

Three-Dimensional Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), an important advancement in the field of computer graphics and 3D vision, has emerged to greatly accelerate the rendering process in novel views' synthesis. Due to its ability to directly realize the real-time estimation of 3D shapes without neural networks, 3DGS has received a lot of attention in the fields of robotics, urban mapping, autonomous navigation, and virtual reality/augmented reality. In view of the growing popularity of 3DGS, we conduct a systematic review of the relevant literature.

Objective: This study aims to explore the effects of high-intensity resistance exercise (HIRE) protocols on improving bone mineral density (BMD) in the elderly without chronic diseases by using a forest plot and network meta-analysis.
Methods: A systematic search was performed across seven databases including PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wan Fang and VIP, to investigate the effects of HIRE on BMD in the elderly by December 9, 2024. The search strategy incorporated Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to refine the selection of relevant studies.

Dopamine (DA) is a crucial neurotransmitter, however, its excessive use can lead to its accumulation as a micropollutant in aquatic ecosystems, thereby presenting various health risks to humans. Consequently, the accurate determination of dopamine levels is of paramount importance and has attracted considerable attention within scientific and regulatory communities. In this work, a ternary composite material (Cu-MOF/MXene/CNTs, MMC) based on copper-metal organic framework (Cu-MOF), the MXene and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was developed using the hydrothermal method for sensitive electrochemical detection of DA.

Herein, the renewable Ce-MFO catalysts rich in oxygen vacancies were synthesized by the oxalic acid complexation method. The optimal 3 %Ce-MFO nanocatalyst with hybrid crystallinity exhibited an excellent ozone conversion rate of 100 % for high concentration O (50 ppm) with a weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) of 400 L g·h in dry air and 96 % for 50 ppm O with a WHSV of 400 L g·h under a relative humidity (RH) of 60 %.

The charge transfer path and the resistance generated at the interface were crucial factors affecting the carrier separation efficiency in heterojunction photocatalysts. Herein, a novel Z-scheme BiSnO/MoS heterojunction with covalent S-O interface was successfully synthesized by calcination and hydrothermal methods. Experimental evidence demonstrated that the prepared BiSnO/MoS composite exhibited high photocatalytic efficiency for the degradation of lomefloxacin, and the antibacterial effects of lomefloxacin and its degradation products decreased during the process.

In response to the issue of Ni-based catalysts, they exhibit easy sintering at high temperatures and low catalytic activity at low temperatures in the CO methanation reaction. In this study, NiMn-LDO composite catalysts were synthesized using hydrotalcite as a precursor to investigate the effects of hydrogen reduction pretreatment conditions and the Ni/Mn ratios on the catalytic performance for CO methanation. It was observed that the NiMn(3:1)-LDO catalyst exhibited exceptional performance, characterized by maintaining over 90% CO conversion and CH selectivity after prolonged testing at a low temperature of 230 °C.

Traditional screening of aptamers for small-molecule targets is often inefficient, typically requiring more than 13 rounds of selection. To address this inefficiency, we optimized the Capture-SELEX process by refining key factors that impact selection efficacy. By extending the length of the capture sequence and reducing the self-dissociation rate to minimize background noise, we significantly enhanced the screening efficiency.

Electrocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen production presents a promising solution to the global energy crisis. The high-value recycling and utilization of waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) presents an environmental-friendly solution to address the "white pollution" caused by plastics. How to link the two reactions? Significantly, in a PET hydrolysate solution, the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) occurs at the cathode, while the ethylene glycol oxidative reaction (EGOR) occurs at the anode, producing hydrogen and formic acid (FA), respectively.
