In this paper, magnetically responsive graphene/boron nitride/iron oxide fillers were prepared by growing iron oxide on the surface of graphene/boron nitride fillers via liquid-phase reaction. By adding the composite filler into the epoxy resin and utilising magnetic field-assisted curing, the composites were prepared to effectively improve the thermal conductivity of the composites while maintaining the insulating properties. The thermal conductivity of the composite filler is 2.

A variety of α-quinazolin-4-yloxy ketones were prepared in moderate to excellent yields through a copper-catalyzed Chan-Lam reaction/[3,3]-rearrangement of -hydroxyquinazolinones and alkenyl boronic acids. More importantly, α-quinazolin-4-yloxy ketones could serve as indole precursors through the Fischer indole synthesis procedure by reacting with arylhydrazines in air, which involved nucleophilic substitution, oxidation, and [3,3]-rearrangement in a one-pot. The present cascade reaction highlights a broad substrate scope, good functional group compatibility, and high rearrangement selectivity, and the obtained α-quinazolin-4-yloxy ketones served as high site-marked indole precursors.

Background: Doxorubicin (DOX) is an anthracycline anticancer drug that is commonly employed in the treatment of acute leukemia, malignant lymphoma, breast cancer and prostate cancer. Given the narrow safe dosage range and the strong toxic reaction associated with the drug, prolonged or excessive use can result in serious adverse reactions, which greatly limits its clinical application. It is therefore necessary to develop a rapid, sensitive and reproducible therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) method for DOX in order to create an individualised dosing regimen based on the patient's specific situation, thus facilitating the precise treatment of the disease.

Background: Healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), which are associated with prolonged hospitalization and increased mortality, remain a global challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic paradoxically reduced some HAIs through enhanced hygiene measures but exacerbated others due to resource diversion, with effects after policy changes remaining unclear. Therefore, this study analyzed HAIs distribution, pathogenic microorganisms distribution, and antibiotic susceptibility capturing the period surrounding strict COVID-19 control measures in a southwest China tertiary hospital.

Anomalous thermodiffusion, absolute negative mobility, and reverse heat transport in a single quantum dot.

Guangxi University of Science and Technology, School of Science, Liuzhou 545006, People's Republic of China.

We investigate the steady-state transport characteristics of a quantum dot system consisting of a single energy level embedded between two reservoirs under the influence of both the temperature gradient and bias voltage. Within tailored parameter regimes, the system can exhibit three counterintuitive transport phenomena of anomalous thermodiffusion, absolute negative mobility, and reverse heat transport respectively. These counterintuitive phenomena do not violate the second law of thermodynamics.

Rationale And Objectives: The aim of this study is to develop a deep learning-based multimodal feature interaction-guided fusion (DL-MFIF) framework that integrates macroscopic information from computed tomography (CT) images with microscopic information from whole-slide images (WSIs) to predict the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations of primary lung adenocarcinoma in patients with advanced-stage disease.

Materials And Methods: Data from 396 patients with lung adenocarcinoma across two medical institutions were analyzed. The data from 243 cases were divided into a training set (n=145) and an internal validation set (n=98) in a 6:4 ratio, and data from an additional 153 cases from another medical institution were included as an external validation set.

This paper mainly deals with inverse reinforcement learning (IRL) for discrete-time linear time-invariant systems. Based on input and state measurement data from expert agent, several algorithms are proposed to reconstruct cost function in optimal control problem. The algorithms mainly consist of three steps, namely updating control gain via algebraic Riccati equation (ARE), gradient descent to correct cost matrix, and updating weight matrix based on inverse optimal control (IOC).

School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Electronic Packaging and Advanced Functional Materials, Central South University, Changsha 410083, P. R. China.

High-voltage electrolytic Zn//MnO batteries show great potential for large-scale energy storage due to their affordability, eco-friendliness and high safety. However, their practical application is hindered by capacity losses due to incomplete MnO dissolution. Herein, we propose the strategy by coupling a 1,4-benzoquinone (1,4-BQ)/hydroquinone (HQ) redox mediator pair with modulation of MnO electronic structure through electrolyte engineering to facilitate rapid and complete MnO dissolution.
