Developing highly active and stable nonprecious electrocatalysts toward sluggish alkaline oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is essential for large-scale green hydrogen production via electrochemical water splitting. Here we report phase and surface co-reconstruction of S-doped (NiCo)WC nanoparticles into (NiCo)C with amorphous electroactive NiCoOOH layer for highly efficient alkaline OER by W dissolution and NiCo surface oxidation. The W dissolution results in the formation of Brønsted base WO ions, which electrostatically accumulate around electrode to promote water dissociation into abundant OH* intermediates, in situ constructing a locally strong alkaline microenvironment to facilitate OH* adsorption on NiCoOOH sites and trigger lattice-oxygen oxidation path.

Objectives: This study aimed to quantify aerosol and microbial exposure levels during different working hours, analyze temporal air pollution trends in the endoscopy suite, and provide evidence to optimize infection prevention strategies.
Methods: A portable laser particle counter and an airborne bacteria sampler were used to measure aerosol particle concentrations and microbial loads at four time points: before the commencement of work (baseline), and 1, 2, and 3 h after work initiation. Continuous data collection was conducted over 10 consecutive working days.

Background: The urinary lipoarabinomannan (LAM) assay has emerged as a promising tool for tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis and treatment monitoring. This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic and monitoring performance of LAM compared to Acid-fast bacilli (AFB), Mycobacteria Growth Indicator Tube (MGIT), and GeneXpert, and to establish its clinical utility in a stratified TB population.
Methods: A prospective cohort study included TB patients stratified by AFB/MGIT status into three groups.
