3D printing of ceramics or glass typically requires sacrificial organic plasticizers and high-temperature sintering, which is time- and cost-consuming, potentially cytotoxic, and may compromise the bioactivity and functionality of the inorganic components. We herein developed purely inorganic self-healing colloidal gels, consisting of electrostatically attractive silica-based hard nanospheres, to enable 3D printing of highly strong inorganic constructs via additive-free and low temperature sintering (LTS) processing. Through cross-scale analysis of the structural and mechanical features, we quantitatively described the constitutive relationship of attractive colloidal gels based on the integration of colloidal assembly theory with experimental characterizations.

The endocrine system is crucial for maintaining overall homeostasis. However, its cellular signatures have not been elucidated during aging. Here, we conducted the first-ever single-cell transcriptomic profiles from eight endocrine organs in young and aged mice, revealing the activation of cell-type-specific aging pathways, such as loss of proteostasis, genomic instability and reactive oxygen species (ROS).

The success of subsequent heart analyses depends entirely on the precision of this segmentation. However, echocardiography is characterized by ambiguity and heavy background noise interference, making accurate segmentation more challenging.

Approval was based on results from TROPION-Breast01 (TB01), a multicenter, randomized, open-label trial comparing Dato-DXd to investigator's choice of chemotherapy (ICC). The trial was designed with dual primary endpoints: progression-free survival (PFS) assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR) according to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) v1.

Three-dimensional (3D) covalent organic frameworks (COFs) represent promising photocatalytic platforms with accessible active sites, yet their development faces challenges in terms of structural diversity and synthetic complexity. Herein, a robust 3D metalloporphyrin COF with topology and 2-fold interpenetration is achieved by using high-connectivity metalloporphyrin, and different metal centers within the porphyrin units of 3D COFs lead to intriguing structural variations. Particularly, the 3D cobalt-porphyrin-based COF achieves efficient photocatalytic CO-to-CO conversion with a rate of 21 251.

While this adaptation allows the sensory system to attend to novel cues, does information about the recurring stimulus, particularly its intensity, get compromised? We explored this issue in the locust olfactory system. We found that locusts' innate behavioral response to odorants varied with repetition and stimulus intensity.

Our previous study provided suggestions for the choice of fixation in metaphyseal-diaphyseal junction (MDJ) fracture of the distal humerus according to the location of the fracture line based on biomechanical analysis. This study went on to testify an advanced suggestions in clinical patients.

Here, we describe a self-assembling protein nanoparticle against MPXV using lumazine synthase to present viral surface proteins. Multivalent nanoparticles elicited broader and stronger immune responses against MPXV and provided superior heterologous protection in rodent models against lethal VACV challenges compared to monovalent formulations.

Cancer therapy resistance remains a major barrier to successful treatment, often leading to reduced clinical efficacy or cancer relapse. Synthetic lethality (SL) has emerged as a promising strategy to exploit genetic vulnerabilities in cancer cells, allowing for more selective and less toxic therapies. By leveraging the genetic or non-genetic adaptations that cancer cells develop under therapeutic pressure, SL-based therapies provide a more precise and less toxic treatment approach.

With regard to 3D bioprinting, however, GelMA has shown unsatisfactory printing stability and accuracy due to slow sol-gel transition, suboptimal mechanical strength, and strict temperature control for printing. We herein developed an innovative dual-crosslinkable colloidal inks composed of self-assembled GelMA nanospheres with 80 % self-healing efficiency, which outperform the traditional GelMA polymeric inks in terms of enhanced printability and fidelity, broader printing temperature range, adjustable mechanical strength ranging from brain analogue 2.

This paper identifies parameter variation imbalance as a critical factor contributing to prediction bias in ER-based OCL.
