The purpose of this study was providing an overview of meningioma research and its current situation. We conducted a bibliometric study of 14,027 articles and reviews on meningioma between January, 1992 to June, 2023 with the bibliometrix tool and VOSviewer. The distribution of authorship and collaboration patterns among countries, institutions, publications, and authors were analyzed.

Existing multimodal fusion models usually perform intra-modal fusion at both shallow and deep layers relying predominantly on traditional attention fusion. Rather, using the same fusion strategy at different layers leads to critical issues, feature redundancy in shallow layers due to repetitive weighting of semantically similar low-level features, and progressive texture detail degradation in deeper layers caused by the inherent feature of deep neural networks.

ISGylation is widely involved in the innate immune activation and IFN-I production. Here, we discovered that in patients with LN and pristane-induced model mouse the staining of HERC5, a E3 protein ligase in ISGylation, was markedly elevated in renal glomerulus and associated with podocyte injury.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAvenanthramides (Avns), particularly Avn-C, are unique phenolic compounds found in oats, known for their anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. This study evaluated Avn-C's bioactivity using oxidative damage models in HUVECs induced by -BOOH and thrombosis models in zebrafish induced by phenylhydrazine (PHZ). Avn-C exhibited potent antioxidant activity, with an IC value of 7.

Methods: A total of 140 patients with TKA were randomly divided into the taVNS group (=70, with 5 dropped-out) and the sham stimulation group (=70, with 6 dropped-out). The taVNS group received taVNS at the left ear conchae combined with PCIA treatment, while the sham stimulation group received sham taVNS at the left ear conchae combined with PCIA treatment.
Metallosupramolecular polymers (MSPs) have shown great potential in the area of oxygen electrocatalysis due to their tunable electronic structure, and predictable coordination environment. Further exploration of structure-performance relationships of oxygen electrocatalysts is crucial for designing highly efficient catalysts. Herein, a strategy is proposed to prepare MSP-based bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts with different oxygen electrocatalytic preferences (Co-AQ and Co-AN) by adjusting the electronic structure of organic linkers.

An effective delirium prediction model could identify high-risk patients who might benefit from targeted prevention strategies. We introduce machine learning models that employ resting-state functional MRI datasets obtained before surgery to predict postoperative delirium.

But its molecular anti-cancer mechanisms are not well understood. Evidence shows that switching YAP-binding partners from pro-tumorigenic to pro-apoptotic proteins might hold great potential for the treatment of human cancers harboring mtp53.

Therefore, delving into the differences in the physiological and molecular mechanisms of heat stress across different sheep breeds is crucial for developing effective management and breeding strategies.
Methods: This study explores the differences in heat tolerance mechanisms between Hu sheep and Xinggao sheep by comparing their growth performance under normal and heat stress conditions, as well as examining the differences in physiological, biochemical, and antioxidant indicators related to heat tolerance, serum metabolomics, and gut microbiomics in a heat stress environment.
Growing evidence supports a role for dysregulated neuroinflammation in autism. However, the underlying mechanisms of microglia-evoked neuroinflammation in the development of autistic phenotypes have not been elucidated. This study aimed to investigate the role and underlying mechanisms of microglial S100 calcium-binding protein A9 (S100A9) in autistic phenotypes.

This reaction exhibits broad substrate adaptability and good functional group tolerance, which allows to afford diverse compounds including structurally complex motifs from natural products and drugs. Furthermore, the practicality was certificated through the gram-scale and transformation experiments.

Non-Hermitian physics has greatly enriched our understanding of nonequilibrium phenomena and uncovered novel effects such as the non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE) that has profoundly revolutionized the field. NHSE has been predicted in systems with nonreciprocal couplings which, however, are challenging to realize in experiments. Without nonreciprocal couplings, the NHSE can also emerge in systems with coexisting gauge fields and loss or gain (e.

Most existing studies focus on non-Hermitian eigenstates, whereas dynamic properties have been discussed only recently, and the dynamic NHSEs are not yet confirmed in experiments. Here, we report the experimental observation of non-Hermitian skin dynamics using tunable one-dimensional nonreciprocal double-chain mechanical systems with glide-time symmetry.

Introduction: Postoperative ileus (POI) is a postoperative complication that can cause lingering recovery after colorectal resection and a heavy healthcare system burden. Acupuncture aims to prevent postoperative complications, reduce the duration of POI, help recovery and shorten hospital stays. We hypothesise that preoperative electroacupuncture (EA) can promote POI recovery under the enhanced recovery after surgery protocol after laparoscopic surgery in patients with POI.

The structures were determined by NMR and MS analyses. The ring-opening and lactone forms underwent mutual transformation with changes in pH and milk could protect the lactone form.

Entanglement entropy is a fundamental concept with rising importance in various fields ranging from quantum information science, black holes to materials science. In complex materials and systems, entanglement entropy provides insight into the collective degrees of freedom that underlie the systems' complex behaviours. As well-known predictions, the entanglement entropy exhibits area laws for systems with gapped excitations, whereas it follows the Gioev-Klich-Widom scaling law in gapless fermion systems.

Extreme global climates in summer and frequent energy crises have led to an increasing demand for sustainable refrigeration; however, low-grade-thermal-energy-driven refrigeration at high ambient temperatures (≥ 40 °C) has rarely been studied. In this paper, we report a solar-driven efficient sorption refrigeration scheme for extreme ambient temperature in summer enabled by metal-organic framework-ammonia working pairs. MIL-101(Cr) consistently achieves an ammonia sorption capacity of 0.

This approach does not require intensity calibration and is insensitive to environmental disturbances, making it both flexible and high-performing. We conducted experiments with a compact QKD system to demonstrate the stability and secure key rate performance of the presented scheme.

Pilonidal sinus is a chronic condition characterized by inflammation, swelling, and pain in the sacrococcygeal region. In recent years, the rate of recurrence and wound complications in PSD remains high, and no treatment is universally accepted. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of phenol treatment with surgical excision treatment for PSD through a meta-analysis of controlled clinical trials.
