Collimated flat-top beam shapers primarily consisting of freeform lenses have a wide range of applications and pose challenges in terms of processing and integration when the diameter is less than millimeters. Metasurfaces represent a promising solution to planarize optics, can mimic any surface curvature without additional fabrication difficulty, and are suitable for flat-top optics. The conventional metasurface design approach relies on imparting the required phase using meta-atoms and encounters challenges in amplitude modulation due to near-field coupling and varying transmittances among meta-atoms with different phases, making the design of flat-top beam shapers difficult.

Objective: To optimize the single centrifugation preparation protocol of rat platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

Methods: The arterial blood of rats obtained by carotid artery intubation was collected by heparin sodium anticoagulant tubes, and then the blood divided into sterile EP tubes, adjusting the red blood cell concentration with normal saline, while rat PRP was prepared by centrifugation under different conditions (the centrifugal force was 200×-240×, and the centrifugal time was 8-12 min). Subsequently, the blood cell count and quality evaluation of anticoagulat whole blood and PRP were performed by hematology analyzer and flow cytometry, respectively, and the differences between different groups were compared.

In this work, we present a new time-bin phase-encoding quantum key distribution (QKD), where the transmitter utilizes an inherently stable Sagnac-type interferometer, and has comparable electrical requirements to existing polarization or phase encoding schemes. This approach does not require intensity calibration and is insensitive to environmental disturbances, making it both flexible and high-performing. We conducted experiments with a compact QKD system to demonstrate the stability and secure key rate performance of the presented scheme.

This paper describes the immature and mature characteristics of Amblyseius eharai Amitai & Swirski in detail to determine its morphological ontogeny based on laboratory-reared specimens. The main changes during ontogeny are as follows: the pronotal shield extends to j6 level and opisthosoma is unsclerotized in the larva; the dorsum has two shields in the protonymph, pronotal shield slightly expended comparing to that of the larva, and the opisthonotal shield smooth and weakly sclerotized. The podonotal and opisthonotal shields in the deutonymph are partially fused, and the dorsal shield is complete, covering almost the entire opisthonotum in adults in both sexes.

In this work, a series of indole-containing pyrazole-carbohydrazide derivatives A1-A25 were synthesized, and their biological activity on tubulin polymerization inhibition and mitotic catastrophe was evaluated. Hypothesis: The high surface tension of liquid metal (LM) causes interface incompatibility and poor bonding strength with many substrates. Fine adjustment towards the properties of the surface area is sufficient to introduce strong bonding.
