Key technical parameters such as DMSO addition, incubation time, and centrifugation conditions were tested to enhance the quality of the frozen platelets.
The final protocol showed that incubating platelets with DMSO for 30 minutes and centrifuging at 800x for 8 minutes improved their stability and quality after freezing and thawing.
