The integration of information memory and computing enabled by nonvolatile memristive device has been widely acknowledged as a critical solution to circumvent the von Neumann architecture limitations. Herein, the Au/NiO/CaBiTiO/FTO (CBTi/NiO) heterojunction based memristor with varying film thicknesses are demonstrated on FTO/glass substrates, and the CBTi/NiO-4 sample shows the optimal memristor characteristics with 5 × 10 stable switching cycles and 10-s resistance state retention. The electrical conduction in the low-resistance state is dominated by Ohmic behavior, while the high-resistance state exhibited characteristics consistent with the space-charge-limited conduction (SCLC) model.

Here, Pb/Y codoped SnSe nanorods were fabricated via a bottom-up, cost-effective hydrothermal method. The formation of nanorod structures generating high-density grain boundaries significantly enhances phonon scattering, serving as the primary mechanism for lattice thermal conductivity reduction. Furthermore, Y-element enrichment regions, nanoprecipitates, and dense dislocation networks provide additional phonon scattering that further suppresses phonon transport.

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) suffer from severe nonradiative recombination-induced photovoltage loss, limiting the device overall performance. To address this key issue, an efficient strategy via a dual-site anchoring bridge is developed to engineer the heterointerface between perovskite and PCBM electron transport layer. The resulting reinforced and homogeneous passivation by forming strong dual-site P─O─Pb covalent bonds, effectively decreases perovskite surface defect density.

The thylakoid membrane (TM) is a specialized structure present in most oxygen-evolving photosynthetic cyanobacteria and chloroplasts. VESICLE-INDUCING PROTEINS IN PLASTIDS 1 (VIPP1) is a key protein involved in TM biogenesis, shaping, and maintenance. VIPP1 originated from PspA and over time has specialized to the TM, which likely coevolved with the emergence of the C-terminal tail (Vc) present in VIPP1 but not in PspA.
