The highest risk of diabetes mellitus (DM)-related complications, collectively known as venous thromboembolism (VTE), is observed in the age group of 20-39 years. However, this observation sharply contrasts with the increased incidence of superficial venous thrombosis observed among adolescent patients during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in Hebei Province in December 2022. Moreover, it contradicts the absence of venous thrombosis observed in pediatric diabetic patients who were treated prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.

A cascaded strapdown line-of-sight (LOS) stabilization and tracking method based on Risley prisms is proposed to address the challenge of maintaining image closed-loop stability in the presence of platform attitude disturbances. First, this paper introduces the Risley-prism coordinate system and the inertial space coordinate system, and then analyzes the disturbance coupling between LOS and the platform, superimposing the platform's attitude disturbance onto the target position motion. By utilizing an inverse calculation model, the system achieves suppression of platform disturbance.

Phosphorus (P) deficiency severely limits soybean productivity, yet the genetic basis of P efficiency remains underexplored. Here, we systematically identified 27 GmGDPD genes in soybean (Glycine max), revealing that family expansion was driven by segmental/tandem duplication events, accompanied by functional diversification through acquisition of protein kinases, catalytic domain-like kinase and GUB_WAK_bind domains. Transcriptome and reverse transcription quantitative PCR analyses demonstrated that genes, including GmGDPD2/9/12/14, were significantly induced under low Pi stress, correlating with enhanced root apical meristem activity.

These days, one of the main issues preventing agricultural development is salinized soils. Potassium fulvic acid (PFA) not only regulates plant growth, but also improves the soil nutrient content and physical structure, which makes it a soil conditioner worth promoting. Nevertheless, the research conducted thus far on the subject of PFA with regard to plant growth and inter-root microbial communities remains somewhat limited in scope.

Developing artificial nanomaterial systems that can convert external stimuli to achieve nanoscale self-sustainable motion (for example, self-rotation), and simultaneously integrate and deploy the spatial localization of multiple active sites to unravel the intraparticle diffusion patterns of molecules, is of great importance for green synthetic chemistry. Here we show a paddle-like self-stirring mesoporous silica nanoreactor system with separated chambers and controllable proximity of active sites. The nanoreactors are designed by encapsulating magnetic FeO (~20 nm) in the first chamber, and meantime, Au and Pd nanocrystals are spatially isolated in different domains.
