The domestic and international research status was reviewed, analyzing the explosion characteristics of inert powders, active powders, and composite powder explosion suppressants from the perspectives of maximum explosion pressure and flame propagation properties. The explosion suppression mechanisms of powder suppressants were also summarized. Analysis found that the inert powder is mainly from the physical aspects of heat absorption, oxygen dilution, and the formation of physical barriers to inhibit gas explosions; the active powder is mainly from the chemical aspects of the capture of free radicals to interrupt the explosion chain reaction inhibition of gas explosions; the composite powder is through the physical-chemical aspects of synergistic inhibition of gas explosions.

To prevent the potential threat of explosions caused by methane leakage during transportation, potassium bicarbonate (KHCO) powder was selected for methane explosion suppression experiments based on an independently designed and constructed explosion pipeline network experimental platform. Explosion propagation and destruction inhibition performance were employed as parameters to characterize explosion suppression performance.

However, current treatments have limited efficacy in improving daytime function and are often associated with side effects. This highlights the urgent need for effective and safe therapeutic approaches that can target both nocturnal and daytime symptoms.

A primary focus of contemporary research is the investigation of their microscopic reaction pathways and the dynamics of free radical transformations. This study examines the combustion and pyrolysis reaction mechanisms of three distinct aliphatic hydrocarbon functional groups utilising the Machine Learning Potential Molecular Dynamics (ML potential MD) method, with validation conducted through thermogravimetric-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (TG-FTIR) and in-situ FTIR experiments.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture compared to that of parecoxib sodium on postoperative pain (POP), postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), and the Bruggemann Comfort Scale (BCS) in patients following laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC).
Methods: Eligible patients admitted to the hospital for LC were randomly allocated to either acupuncture or control groups in a 1 : 1 ratio. The subjects in the acupuncture group received acupuncture while those in the control group were injected by parecoxib sodium at their requests.

Coal is the largest non-renewable energy as well as an important basic energy and industrial raw material. Thus, correctly understanding the molecular structure characteristics of coal has important theoretical value for realizing carbon neutralization. In this work, we clarified the molecular structure characteristics of anthracite, where the organic matter in anthracite was characterized and analyzed by industrial/elemental analysis, FTIR, XPS, XRD and solid 13C NMR.

The shock wave pressure, flame wave velocity, and flame wave temperature under different suppression conditions were compared to characterize the effects of explosion suppression under different working conditions, and the mechanism of explosion suppression was analyzed. The results showed that under single-factor explosion suppression conditions the optimal explosion suppression results were achieved when the volume fraction of N was 25%, the volume fraction of CO was 20%, and the concentration of KCl was 7%.

The objective is to optimize the selection of smoke containment and exhaust methods in an underground mall in Fuxin City, China. A Fire Dynamics Simulator was used for numerical simulation to investigate the effects of the sagging height and spacing of smoke barriers on smoke containment, as well as the effects of size, number, and arrangement of smoke vents in the mechanical smoke exhaust system on the effectiveness of smoke exhaust.

Experimental results indicate that the maximum explosion overpressure of the premixed gas increases with increasing distance from the explosion source, and it shows a gradually decreasing trend. In the complex pipe network, an overpressure zone is formed in the B-E-H and D-E sections of the network.
