Background: Periodontitis affects approximately 50% of adults in China and is a leading cause of tooth loss in this population. However, there is a notable paucity of research on knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) related to periodontitis among patients in Northeast China.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the KAP regarding periodontitis among populations in Northeast China, focusing on 5 demographic factors: gender, age, income, education level, and region.

In this article, we build on her arguments by highlighting conceptual ambiguities, methodological limitations, and measurement challenges that have contributed to these inconsistencies. We then evaluate the Quality Participation Model of PA and QOL/SWB as a promising framework that positions quality participation as central to enhancing well-being.

However, the abiotic formation pathways to hydrogen trioxide have remained elusive. Here, we demonstrate in laboratory simulation experiments that hydrogen trioxide effectively forms in water-molecular oxygen ice analogs at temperatures as low as 5 kelvin under exposure to proxies of galactic cosmic rays.

Efficacy and Safety of Simultaneous Integrated Boost Followed by Selective Sequential Boost Radiotherapy for Spinal Metastases: A Single-Arm Retrospective Study.

ObjectiveThis study evaluated the clinical efficacy and safety of simultaneous integrated boost (SIB) followed by selective sequential boost radiotherapy (RT) in patients with spinal metastases (SM) and explored the protocol's potential for dosimetric optimization.MethodsIn this retrospective study, 34 consecutive patients with SM underwent SIB followed by selective sequential boost RT at Peking University Third Hospital between July 2021 and December 2024. Prescribed doses were 30 Gy in 10 fractions to the planning target volume (PTV), with dose escalation to the boost planning target volume (PTV_boost) of either 40 Gy in 10 fractions or 48 Gy in 12 fractions.

Design of a ROS-responsive fluorescent probe for the diagnosis and imaging of breast cancer.
