Seawater desalination and wastewater purification from brackish water, shale gas extraction, and industrial processes remain vital but challenging. Membrane distillation offers a promising solution yet struggles with low flux, membrane fouling, and the permeation of volatile organic compounds alongside water vapor. Here, we introduce an omniphobic ZIF-8 composite membrane that traps volatile organic compounds under vacuum through crystal phase transitions and enhances water evaporation via linkage swing within hydrophobic micropores.

This paper proposes a highly symmetrical miniaturized, frequency-selective surface (FSS) based on LC parallel resonance to optimize high-frequency passband characteristics, enhancing transmission efficiency under large-angle conditions. Through meandered design optimization, the device size is further reduced. Utilizing cell bending techniques and LC resonators, a single-layer FSS unit with parallel LC resonance is designed, achieving reflection and transmission peaks at approximately 1.

Cytidine/Uridine monophosphate kinase 2 (CMPK2) is a crucial enzyme responsible for the phosphorylation of nucleotides, specifically converting cytidine monophosphate (CMP) and uridine monophosphate (UMP) into their respective diphosphates, known as cytidine diphosphate (CDP) and uridine diphosphate (UDP). Recent studies have demonstrated that CMPK2 plays a pivotal role in multiple pathophysiological processes, such as cellular nucleotide metabolism, energy homeostasis, and inflammatory response. Dysregulation of CMPK2 has been implicated in a variety of pathologies, including viral infections, neurodegenerative diseases, and autoimmune disorders.

The versatile multi-territory perforator flap remains a cornerstone of reconstructive surgery for diabetic ulcerations, yet its clinical efficacy faces significant challenges in hyperglycemic conditions. The diabetic milieu significantly exacerbates tissue ischemia through augmented chronic inflammation and impaired angiogenesis, which collectively harm flap perfusion and compromise its overall viability. A major postoperative complication is distal flap necrosis, which is closely associated with the critical "Choke zone," a hypoperfused transitional area that exhibits delayed vascular recruitment and suboptimal angiogenesis.

Neural cell death is a critical pathological mechanism underlying the development and progression of central nervous system (CNS) diseases, where programmed cell death (PCD) pathways serve as critical regulatory hubs. In addition to classical apoptosis and autophagy, emerging PCD modalities including necroptosis, pyroptosis, ferroptosis, and cuproptosis exhibit distinct activation patterns in different neurological diseases. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have emerged as pivotal regulators of these PCD processes through multiple molecular strategies by modulating chromatin accessibility, assembling signaling complexes, and regulating post-transcriptional processes.
