Objective: The risk of lymph node metastasis significantly influences the choice of surgical strategy for patients with early-stage endometrial cancer. While sentinel lymph node dissection can be considered in clinically early-stage endometrial cancer, lymph node evaluation might be omitted in patients with very low risk of lymph node metastasis. Despite the generally favorable prognosis of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) following surgery and radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy, approximately 10% of cases eventually develop resistance to RAI. This condition, known as radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid carcinoma (RAIR-DTC), is associated with a poor prognosis, with a 10-year survival rate of only 10% from the time of metastasis detection. The limited availability of safe and effective alternative treatments poses a significant challenge to clinical management.

To address the issue of biological pollution in cellulose triacetate (CTA) membranes during seawater desalination, silver (Ag) nanoparticles were incorporated onto the CTA surface using polydopamine (PDA). PDA, which contains phenolic and amino groups, exhibits excellent adhesiveness and provides active sites for the attachment and reduction for Ag nanoparticles. Various characterizations confirm the successful introduction of Ag nanoparticles onto the surface of the PDA-modified CTA (PCTA) membrane and the preservation of CTA microstructures.

Diabetic wounds present persistent challenges due to impaired healing, recurrent infection, oxidative stress, and dysregulated glucose metabolism. Bioinspired polymeric microneedle (MN) patches have emerged as multifunctional platforms capable of penetrating the stratum corneum to deliver therapeutics directly into the dermis, enabling glucose regulation, antimicrobial action, reactive oxygen species (ROS) modulation, and proangiogenic stimulation. Recent experimental evidence has demonstrated that the integration of glucose oxidase-loaded porous metal-organic frameworks, photothermal nanomaterials, and antioxidant hydrogels within dissolvable MNs achieves synergistic bactericidal effects, accelerates collagen deposition, and enhances neovascularization in diabetic wound models.
