Dietary management is crucial in the disease management of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). However, there is still a lack of research on the genuine experiences and needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals involved in CKD dietary management, especially in the Chinese context. To explore the experiences and needs of Chinese patients with CKD, caregivers, and healthcare professionals regarding dietary management.

The objective of this study was to explore the molecular mechanisms that contribute to I/R-induced acute kidney injury (I/R-AKI) and to discover potential targets for effective renal safeguarding. Bioinformatics techniques were employed to analyse critical genes regulating I/R-AKI at the single-cell level and to develop diagnostic models.

However, global mitigation from forestation remains uncertain owing to varying estimates of carbon sequestration rates (notably in soil) and land availability. In this study, we developed global maps of soil carbon change that reveal carbon gains and losses with forestation, primarily in the topsoil.

We analyzed transcriptomic data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, comprising 541 tumor samples and 59 normal tissue samples, to pinpoint key migrasome genes and related lncRNAs, using correlation analysis to detect those pertinent to patient outcomes. A risk score model based on 17 migrasome-related lncRNAs, constructed via univariate, LASSO, and multivariate Cox regression, was then validated in an independent dataset to ensure reliability.

The aim of the present study was to assess the impact of β‑elemene treatment on the IRI‑AKI using both and models, reverse transcription‑quantitative PCR, western blot assays, hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining, Immunohistochemical staining and TUNEL staining. β‑elemene significantly decreased morphological and pathological kidney inflammation in mice caused by IRI.

Objective: This meta-analysis is aimed to verify the effectiveness and safety of Photobiomodulation (PBM) on body measurements, metabolic indicators, and inflammation indicators in obese patients across randomized controlled trials with various comparators.
Methods: From the inception of databases to January 5, 2025, we conducted a comprehensive literature search across PubMed, OVID, Cochrane, Embase, Web of Science, LILACS, Chinese Scientific Journals Database (VIP), Wanfang and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). Two reviewers independently performed the search, extracted data, and assessed study quality based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Objective: Based on the "Three-Dimensional Quality Structure" theory, a sensitive index system of nursing quality during the perioperative period of liver transplantation patients was constructed.
Methods: Through a comprehensive literature review and rigorous application of the Delphi method, a panel of 27 experts completed three rounds of effective letter consultation to obtain expert consensus opinions. The contents of indicators were determined based on this process, and the analytic hierarchy process was employed to confirm the weightage assigned to each indicator.
This study investigated the fermentation characteristics of different hemicellulose components using a fecal inoculum derived from suckling piglets. The results showed that after 60 h of fermentation, the arabinogalactan (Ara-gal), glucomannan (Glu-man), galactomannan (Gal-man), and mannan (Man) groups exhibited similar levels of gas production, which were higher than those of the β-glucan (β-Glu) group. The β-Glu group had the lowest pH value.

Objectives: To establish a rapid screening method for 60 types of natural toxins in whole blood by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole/electrostatic field orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q/Orbitrap HRMS).
Methods: The chromatographic and mass spectrometric information of 60 standard samples of natural toxins were analyzed and recorded, and a screening database was built. Whole blood was pretreated by protein precipitation method combined with ultrasonic-assisted dispersion, and then a Hypersil GOLD C column was used with 5 mmol/L ammonium formate aqueous solution (containing 0.
Objectives: To establish a method to identify an unknown substance based on the combined use of gas chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC-QTOF-MS), ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole/electrostatic field orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q/Orbitrap HRMS)and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques.
Methods: The unknown substance was dissolved in methanol and was detected by GC-QTOF-MS and UPLC-Q/Orbitrap HRMS, and was dissolved in methanol-d4 to be detected by NMR.
Results: The main characteristics ion peaks of components with retention time of 9.

Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has become a worldwide health problem and the incidence rate and mortality of CKD have been rising. Renal fibrosis (RF) is the final common pathological feature of almost all kinds of CKD and Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is the predominant stage of RF. β-catenin is a key component of the Wnt signaling pathway, which has been fully proven to promote EMT.

Unlabelled: The biodiversity of CO-assimilating bacterial communities is pivotal for carbon sequestration in agricultural systems. Changes in the diversity, structure, and activity of the soil chemolithoautotrophic bacteria were examined in four agricultural areas, Dulan (DL), Gonghe (GH), Huzhu (HZ), and Datong (DT) counties in Qinghai Province, where wheat, oilseed rape, and barley were planted. This process was performed using Illumina amplicon sequencing of the ribulose-1,5-bisphosphatecarboxylase/oxygenase (RubisCO) gene ( Form I) and activity data.

The dressing of the reconstructed auricle after total auricle reconstruction surgery is an important measure of postoperative nursing. However, a uniform dressing of the reconstructed auricle after total auricle reconstruction surgery has not been formed. We carried out this clinical study to provide a new idea and method for the postoperative dressing of reconstructed auricle by comparing the therapeutic effect of the completely covered dressing method and the dressing method of exposed reconstructed auricle.

Quantifying changes in soil organic carbon (SOC) stocks within croplands across a broad spatiotemporal scale in response to anthropogenic and environmental factors offers valuable insights for sustainable agriculture aimed to improve soil health. Using a validated and widely used soil carbon model RothC, we simulated the SOC dynamics across intensive croplands in China that support ∼22 % of the global population using only 7 % of the global cropland area. The modelling results demonstrate that the optimized RothC effectively captures SOC dynamics measured across 29 long-term field trials during 40 years.

Therefore, identifying fetuses requiring NICU transfer before delivery is essential for guiding targeted preventive measures.
Objective: This study aims to construct and validate a nomogram for predicting the prenatal risk of NICU admission in neonates born to mothers over 35 years of age.
