The development of a distinguished and high-performance catalyst for H and O generation is a rational strategy for producing hydrogen fuel electrochemical water splitting. Herein, a flower-like CoS@MoS heterostructure with effective bifunctional activity was achieved using a one-pot approach the hydrothermal treatment of metal-coordinated species followed by pyrolysis under an N atmosphere. The heterostructures exhibited a 3D interconnected network with a large electrochemical active surface area and a junctional complex with hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalytic activity of MoS and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalytic activity of CoS, exhibiting low overpotentials of 295 and 103 mV for OER and HER at 10 mA cm current density, respectively.

A photoelectrochemical sensing platform based on ligand-variable metal clusters charge transfer was established for the quantitative assay of ronidazole (RNZ) using Ce-porphyrin-metal-organic frameworks/silver nanowires (Ce-Por-MOFs/AgNWs). A time-saving, efficient, and environmentally friendly ultrasonic-microwave-assisted natural deep eutectic solvent (UMAE-NADES) extraction method was developed for the extraction of anthocyanins from Aronia melanocarpa. Eight different natural eutectic solvents were screened initially, and choline chloride-glycerol was selected as the extraction solvent. The extraction conditions were optimized using the response surface methodology, and the extraction rate of anthocyanins was higher than those achieved using the traditional ethanol method, natural deep eutectic solvent extraction method, and ultrasonic-microwave-assisted ethanol method.

Considering the limitations associated with existing methods for the detection of trace amounts of trichlorfon, this paper proposes a novel molecularly imprinted electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensor for the detection of trichlorfon by utilizing the double enhancement effect of trichlorfon and Ag nanoparticles supported by multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs/Ag NPs) in a luminol-HO ECL system. Here, trichlorfon was electropolymerized on the surface of the MWCNT/Ag NP-modified gold nanoelectrode with o-phenylenediamine to prepare the molecularly imprinted polymer-based sensor. After eluting the trichlorfon, imprinted holes for the identification of trichlorfon were retained on the sensor, which were used as signal switches to obtain different ECL intensities through the adsorption of different concentrations of trichlorfon.

An effective synthetic method for 1,3,5-trisubstituted pyrazoles 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction has been developed. This reaction could smoothly proceed between ninhydrin-derived Morita-Baylis-Hillman carbonates and nitrilimines to provide a wide scope of differently substituted pyrazoles in high yields (up to 95%). In addition, the reaction mechanism was also proposed to explain its regioselectivity.

Cyanidin-3-galactoside (C3G), the most abundant anthocyanin in a, has many beneficial health effects, such as antioxidation. C3G was extracted from and applied (100, 200, and 400 mg/kg body weight) to 50-μl silica particles (SP) solution-exposed mice to research its antifibrotic properties using histological analysis, hydroxyproline assay, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, and western blot analysis. The results showed that C3G treatment significantly ameliorated pulmonary fibrosis and cell infiltration into the lungs of mice.

Paraneoplastic pemphigus (PNP) is an autoimmune bullous disease associated with underlying neoplasms and characterized by antibodies against desmoglein 3 (Dsg 3) and plakins. Autoantibodies against desmoglein 3 in sera of patients with PNP have been proven to cause acantholysis in neonatal mice. As a member of the plakin family, autoantibodies against desmoplakin were detected frequently by immunoprecipitation in the sera of PNP.

Ant colonies with permanent division of labour between castes and highly distinct roles of the sexes have been conceptualized to be superorganisms, but the cellular and molecular mechanisms that mediate caste/sex-specific behavioural specialization have remained obscure. Here we characterized the brain cell repertoire of queens, gynes (virgin queens), workers and males of Monomorium pharaonis by obtaining 206,367 single-nucleus transcriptomes. In contrast to Drosophila, the mushroom body Kenyon cells are abundant in ants and display a high diversity with most subtypes being enriched in worker brains, the evolutionarily derived caste.

Background: Long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) play roles in different diseases, LncRNA is differentially expressed in diffuse large B cell lines with varying degrees of resistance to rituximab.

Methods: In the GEO database (GSE159852), we found that CHROMR (cholesterol induced regulator of metabolism RNA) may be differentially expressed in different rituximab-resistant diffuse large B lymphoma cell lines. We also verified the expression level in cell lines and verified the role of CHROMR in acquiring cell drug resistance through various biological function experiments.
