Aim Of The Study: This study aimed to investigate the protective effects of Geniposide (GEN) against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury by targeting the cGAS-STING pathway and modulating autophagy in neuronal cells.
Materials And Methods: In vivo middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion (MCAO/R) model and an in vitro oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R) model to mimic the pathology of cerebral ischemic stroke in humans. Behavioral tests, tissue staining to assess neurological deficits and tissue damage in mice.

Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Scopus databases for eligible publications until September 30, 2024.
Inflammatory diseases are often chronic and recurrent, and current treatments do not typically remove underlying disease drivers. T cells participate in a wide range of inflammatory diseases such as psoriasis, Crohn's disease, oesophagitis and multiple sclerosis, and clonally expanded antigen-specific T cells may contribute to disease chronicity and recurrence, in part by forming persistent pathogenic memory. Chronic rhinosinusitis and asthma are inflammatory airway diseases that often present as comorbidities.

However, it is controversial for the use of the two aggressive regimens in elderly patients.
Methods: We systematically searched multiple databases for studies comparing overall survival (OS) and/or progression-free survival (PFS) between dCRT and surgery (nCRT + surgery or surgery alone) or between dCRT and radiotherapy (RT) alone in elderly patients (age ≥ 65 years) until March 28, 2024.
Background: The role of postoperative radiotherapy (PORT) after complete tumor resection in patients with thymoma or thymic carcinoma remains controversial. We performed a meta-analysis to identify groups that would benefit from PORT.
Methods: Multiple scientific databases were systematically searched for studies comparing overall survival (OS) and/or disease-free survival (DFS) between PORT and surgery alone in patients with completely resected thymomas or thymic carcinomas until April 10, 2024.

Autoreactive B cells are silenced through receptor editing, clonal deletion and anergy induction. Additional autoreactive B cells are ignorant because of physical segregation from their cognate autoantigen.
