The bimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), Cu/Co-MOF, was synthesized through a solvothermal method and calcined to obtain CuO/CoOcomposites. By adjusting the molar ratio between Cu and Co ions, a composite material of CuO/CoO(Cu:Co = 1:1) was developed and showed excellent sensing capabilities, and the response reached as high as 196.3 for 10 ppm HS detection.

The development of a high-rate SiO lithium-ion battery anode is seriously limited by its low intrinsic conductivity, sluggish interfacial charge transfer (ICT), and unstable dynamic interface. To tackle the above issues, interfacial encapsulation engineering for effectively regulating the interfacial reaction and thus realizing a stable solid electrolyte interphase is significantly important. Hybrid coating, which aims to enhance the coupled e/Li transport via the employment of dual layers, has emerged as a promising strategy.

Li-excess oxide cathodes have received increasing attention due to their high capacity derived from accumulated cation and anion redox activity. However, Li-excess layered oxides suffer from capacity and voltage decay due to the irreversible phase transition, while cation-disordered cathodes also have the problems of poor cycling stability and rate capability. The rocksalt oxides with a layered-disordered coexistence nanostructure can combine the advantages of both phases such as the inherent high capacity of Li-excess oxides, good rate capability of the layered phase, and structural stability resulting from the intergrown disordered phase.

The disposal of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) is an issue of great concern to the society, because of its huge amount, resource value and environmental pollution. A wide variety of pollutants generate and release during the recycling process. However, previous studies are piecemeal and segmentary, the correlation between treatment flowchart and pollution is unknown, and pollution source analysis in ELV recycling and core parts (engine, gear box, etc.

Lightweight concrete is widely used in the construction industry due to its low density and high strength. In this paper, lightweight concrete was prepared by a simple two-step method. Firstly, the light calcium carbonate reinforced epoxy macrospheres (LCR-EMS) material was obtained by adhering calcium lighter carbonate powder to the expanded polystyrene foam spheres (EPS) material using the "balling method".

Controlling the evaporation of a solvent has made it possible to grow crystals, nanoparticles, and microparticles from liquid droplets. At the heart of this process is the evaporation-induced diffusion of solute atoms, causing the liquid solution of the solute atoms to be in a supersaturated state. In this work, we analyze the mass transport in a spherical liquid droplet, which experiences the loss or evaporation of the solvents across the droplet surface.

Municipal sewer systems have received increasing attention due to the magnitude of the microplastic stock and its potential ecological impacts. However, as a critical aspect of the adverse impacts, little is known about the plastisphere that forms in these engineered environments. Using high-throughput absolute quantification sequencing, we conducted a systemic study combining field survey and laboratory batch test to explain the general plastisphere pattern and the role of environmental and polymeric factors in driving plastisphere succession and assembly there.

The strategic progression toward highly efficient transition metal electrocatalytic electrodes is crucial to achieving efficiency and long-term stability in hydrogen production from authentic seawater sources. This work reports the development of a self-supporting, heterogeneous and corrosion-resistant iron sulfur-based catalytic electrode via a streamlined, one-step process involving sulfide etching and electroless plating on an iron foam substrate (IF). This new electrode, named NiS-FeS@IF, involves a nanostructured NiS-FeS catalytic material that combines in situ, resulting in a thin, ultrathin nanospherical layer on the IF.

Lithium trapping, which is associated with the immobilization of lithium and is one of key factors contributing to structural degradation of lithium-ion batteries during electrochemical cycling, can exacerbate mechanical stress and ultimately cause the capacity loss and battery failure. Currently, there are few studies focusing on how lithium trapping contributes to mechanical stress during electrochemical cycling. This study incorporates the contribution of lithium trapping in the analysis of mechanical stress and mass transport in the framework of finite deformation.

Efficient thermal management is critical to ensure the safe and reliable operation of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) as they are highly sensitive to temperature changes. Meanwhile, LIBs are exposed to various external forces during operation, such as vibration, shock, and oscillation, which may disrupt the physical and chemical processes inside the battery and lead to a decreased performance and shortened life. Here, we designed a phase change hydrogel (PCH) pad based on the polyurethane (PU) foam skeleton and demonstrated its effectiveness in efficient thermal management and improving antivibration performance.

Combating health insurance fraud is of utmost importance to physicians, patients, and health insurers. To delve into the mechanisms of health insurance fraud between doctors and patients, this study employed evolutionary game theory to construct a model that comprehensively considers moral hazard, fraud cost, reward, punishment, bribes from patients, and other factors. Through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of the model, the study discovered that the evolution of governance behavior in health insurance fraud is closely linked to its initial construction of the payment matrix and the initial selection of parameters for the payment matrix.
