Background: Digital-intelligent technologies (DIT), positioned at the convergence of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, have become pivotal to the modernization of physical education (PE). Although widely discussed within the context of Wisdom Education, their specific applications in PE have not been systematically synthesized. This study aimed to systematically review the scope, educational impacts, and implementation challenges of DIT in PE.

Digital natives: A systematic review of the digital health literacy and influencing factors among Chinese college students.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the current status of digital health literacy (DHL) among Chinese college students, and to summarize and analyze the related influencing factors.

Methods: A systematic search was conducted in Web of Science, PubMed, EBSCO, Scopus, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, and VIP databases for relevant literature published between 1 January 2006 and 30 May 2024.

Results: A total of 32 articles, with sample sizes ranging from 224 to 16,497 participants, were included in this review.

As Tsinghua University is considered the flagship of Chinese university sports, this research aims to develop a comprehensive TVA framework by analyzing the memoirs of graduates from Tsinghua in "Tsinghua Sports Influenced My Life" using grounded theory technical approach.

Machine learning prediction models for multidrug-resistant organism infections in ICU ventilator-associated pneumonia patients: Analysis using the MIMIC-IV database.

Objective: This study aims to construct and compare four machine learning models using the MIMIC-IV database to identify high-risk factors for multidrug-resistant organism (MDRO) infection in Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) patients.

Methods: The study included 972 VAP patients from the MIMIC-IV database. Data encompassing demographic information, vital signs, laboratory results, and other relevant variables were collected.

Growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible 45: a new player on inflammatory diseases.

Growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible 45 (GADD45) proteins are critical stress sensors rapidly induced in response to genotoxic/physiological stress and regulate many cellular functions. Even though the primary function of the proteins is to block the cell cycle, inhibit cell proliferation, promote cell apoptosis, and repair DNA damage to cope with the damage caused by internal and external stress on the body, evidence has shown that GADD45 also has the function to modulate innate and adaptive immunity and plays a broader role in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. In this review, we focus on the immunomodulatory role of GADD45 in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Development and validation of a neutrophil extracellular traps-related gene signature for lower-grade gliomas.

There is growing evidence linking neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) to tumor genesis, growth, distant metastasis, and tumor-related thrombosis. However, the roles of NETs-related genes (NETRGs) on LGG prognosis remain unclear. The purpose of this study was to integrate multiple machine learning techniques and experiment validation to develop a reliable NETs-based signature that opens up novel approaches for assessing the prognosis and treatment response of LGG patients.

Phthalates in the environment of China: A scoping review of distribution, anthropogenic impact, and degradation based on meta-analysis.

Phthalates (PAEs) are a group of endocrine-disrupting environmental chemicals (EEDs) that pose significant risks to human health. PAEs are widespread in various environmental media, including air, dust, water, and soil, and are subject to both horizontal and vertical migration. Human activities significantly influence the distribution of PAEs, yet current research on this relationship remains limited.

Using the grounded theory to develop the theoretical model of Chinese school sports coaching competence.

Background: School sports coaching is gaining recognition as a formal profession worldwide, highlighting its significant role in students' holistic development. Given the complex social and cultural dimensions of the role, this study explores a coaching competence model tailored to the school context, emphasizing the need to consider both national and local frameworks to ensure effective implementation. In China, school sport coaches are responsible for both physical education teaching and sports training across all types of schools.

Exosomal miR-130b-3p suppresses metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer cells by targeting DEPDC1 via TGF-β signaling pathway.

Exosomal miRNAs have vital functions in mediating intercellular communication as well as tumor occurrence and development. Thus, our research was aimed at exploring the regulatory mechanisms of exosomal miR-130b-3p/DEP domain containing 1 (DEPDC1)/transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) signaling pathway in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Here we indicated that exosomal miR-130b-3p expression decreased in the serum of NSCLC patients, and it was of significant diagnostic value.

Effects of Fe(III) on the formation and toxicity alteration of halonitromethanes, dichloroacetonitrile, and dichloroacetamide from polyethyleneimine during UV/chlorine disinfection.

Trace iron ions (Fe(III)) are commonly found in water and wastewater, where free chlorine is very likely to coexist with Fe(III) affecting the disinfectant's stability and N-DBPs' fate during UV/chlorine disinfection, and yet current understanding of these mechanisms is limited. This study investigates the effects of Fe(III) on the formation and toxicity alteration of halonitromethanes (HNMs), dichloroacetonitrile (DCAN), and dichloroacetamide (DCAcAm) from polyethyleneimine (PEI) during UV/chlorine disinfection. Results reveal that the maxima concentrations of HNMs, DCAN, and DCAcAm during UV/chlorine disinfection with additional Fe(III) were 1.

Emergency cervical cerclage in delayed-interval delivery of twin pregnancies: a scoping review.

Background: The protocol for delayed-interval delivery of the second twin in twin pregnancies has not been standardized. Cervical cerclage is often performed, but its use is debated. To conduct a scoping review on cervical cerclage for prolonging the intertwin delivery interval and improving second twin survival and maternal outcomes after preterm delivery or spontaneous abortion of the first twin in twin pregnancies.

Novel potential lncRNA biomarker in B cells indicates essential pathogenic pathway activation in patients with SLE.

Objectives: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a highly heterogeneous disease, and B cell abnormalities play a central role in the pathogenesis of SLE. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have also been implicated in the pathogenesis of SLE. The expression of lncRNAs is finely regulated and cell-type dependent, so we aimed to identify B cell-expressing lncRNAs as biomarkers for SLE, and to explore their ability to reflect the status of SLE critical pathway and disease activity.

However, the diagnostic value and the regulatory function within NSCLC are largely unclear. This work utilized publicly available databases and in vitro experiments for exploring, DEPDC1 expression, clinical features, diagnostic significance and latent molecular mechanism within NSCLC.

Developing an evaluation index system for the online learning literacy of physical education teachers in China.

Background: The convenience of online learning helps physical education teachers overcome geographic barriers and promotes safe, accessible, high-quality education. This three-stage study developed an evaluation index system for online learning literacy of physical education (PE) teachers (OLLPET).

Methods: Using two rounds of the Delphi method and one round of the Expert ranking method, consult with 15 PE experts from universities, primary and secondary schools, and teaching-research staff to draw up, revise, and finalize an evaluation index system for OLLPET.

Background: A comprehensive overview of artificial intelligence (AI) for cardiovascular disease (CVD) prediction and a screening tool of AI models (AI-Ms) for independent external validation are lacking. This systematic review aims to identify, describe, and appraise AI-Ms of CVD prediction in the general and special populations and develop a new independent validation score (IVS) for AI-Ms replicability evaluation.
