However, its therapeutic efficacy remains limited due to inadequate reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, largely attributed to tumor-intrinsic antioxidant systems and mitophagy. Existing combinations of SDT with immunotherapy are primarily additive and fail to address the mechanistic interplay between ROS suppression and immune evasion.

However, previous studies often focused on specific populations or lacked comparisons across participants and intervention characteristics in the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This systematic review and meta-analysis (CRD42024498284) aimed to address these gaps by examining the effectiveness of CBT in managing subclinical depression and its potential for preventing the transition to major depression.

Our team has developed a new cephalomedullary nail design called the proximal femoral universal nail (PFUN). This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of PFUN and proximal femoral nail anti-rotation (PFNA) internal fixation for the treatment of IFF in older patients.

Bereavement adaptation, which refers to how people adapt to changes after a death, is crucial for their subsequent life stages. Bereavement experienced during one's childhood or teenage years can be even more challenging, considering the dual burden of bereavement adaptation and developmental tasks.

Emerging evidences have revealed that mitophagy plays an important role in regulating cell fate and immune microenvironment. Targeted regulation of mitophagy could be a promising strategy for enhanced cancer immunotherapy, which however remains unexploited due to the absence of robust therapeutic platform.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study analyzed 115 patients with acute Achilles tendon rupture who underwent surgery at Peking University Third Hospital between May and November 2023. After excluding cases lost to follow-up or declining participation, 96 patients were ultimately enrolled.
Background: FBN1 gene mutation-associated geleophysic dysplasia (GD) leads to the formation of complex and refractory pulmonary hypertension (PH) through a multifactorial combination of precapillary factors, postcapillary factors, and respiratory pathology. However, clinical experience regarding the diagnosis and management of these patients remains limited.
Case Report: The patient was admitted to the hospital with severe PH symptom.
Aims: This study aimed to explore the role of serum lysophosphatidylcholine acyltransferase 3 (LPCAT3) in glucose and lipid metabolism and its association with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
Methods: Between July and December 2024, we recruited 256 newly diagnosed T2DM patients and 252 gender- and age-matched individuals with normal glucose tolerance (NGT). Serum LPCAT3 levels were measured using ELISA.

Camouflaged Object Detection (COD) aims to segment objects that are highly integrated with their background, presenting significant challenges such as low contrast, complex textures, and blurred boundaries. Existing deep learning methods often struggle to achieve robust segmentation under these conditions. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a novel COD network, SAM2-DFBCNet, built upon the SAM2 Hiera architecture.

Background: Complex trauma results in a variety of nonstandard bone defects in the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints of patients, limiting the choice of commercial prostheses. This study aims to investigate the early clinical efficacy of 3D-printed personalized prostheses in the reconstruction of traumatic MCP joints.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 7 cases of 3D printed MCP joint prostheses replacement surgeries performed by the same surgeon.
Periodontal bone defects, primarily caused by periodontitis, are highly prevalent in clinical settings and manifest as bone fenestration, dehiscence, or attachment loss, presenting a significant challenge to oral health. In regenerative medicine, harnessing developmental principles for tissue repair offers promising therapeutic potential. Of particular interest is the condensation of progenitor cells, an essential event in organogenesis that has inspired clinically effective cell aggregation approaches in dental regeneration.

However, methods for the more efficient delivery of ERK inhibitors to improve drug utilization remains a pressing challenge. Notably, the application of antiangiogenic therapies to treat OSCC has received increasing attention, yet single therapies often have very limited efficacy.

Cognitive and behavioural strategies have demonstrated the potential to alleviate these challenges. Chatbots, with their real-time interaction capabilities, provide a promising and accessible approach to delivering psychological interventions for young people.

This prospective cohort study aimed to compare clinical outcomes of OS and MIS for AATR repair and evaluate the impact of immobilization duration (0, 2, or 4 weeks) on postoperative rehabilitation.
Methods: A total of 474 patients undergoing surgical repair for acute AATR were stratified into six groups based on surgical approach (OS: 265 cases; MIS: 209 cases) and immobilization duration (0, 2, or 4 weeks).
Postnatal depression is a common maternal mental health problem with substantial public health implications, yet limited attention has been given to pregnant women's perceptions and responses to it. There are few studies explore pregnant women's Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) towards postnatal depression. This study aimed to investigate the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of pregnant women regarding postnatal depression in Henan Province, China, between June and November 2023.

Dengue virus (DENV) infection remains a critical global health threat, with DENV-2 being the most virulent serotype capable of causing lethal dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), a severe complication characterized by plasma leakage and hemorrhagic manifestations. While the search for viral receptors and immunocompetent animal models has persisted since the first recorded outbreak in 1779, significant gaps remain. Here, we establish the first immunocompetent murine model of DHF with intact innate/adaptive immunity by generating hTim4-transgenic C57BL/6J mice.

Balancing the supply and demand of ecosystem services is essential for achieving regional sustainable development. A key scientific challenge lies in identifying and improving areas with ecosystem service supply-demand ratio (ESR) imbalances across different spatial scales. Aiming to promote the coordinated development of the economy and ecology in China's Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB), this study employed a simulated annealing algorithm coupled with the FLUS model to simulate five future land use scenarios for the year 2030.

Rationale: Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a progressive and debilitating disease characterized by the excessive deposition of extracellular matrix (ECM) components. The activation of fibroblasts and the production of large amounts of ECM are important factors in the development of PF. This study aimed to elucidate the role and mechanism of versican (VCAN) in promoting PF and to identify therapeutic targets for PF.

This study aims to investigate the biomechanical effects of varying anterior tooth spaces on the intrusion of mandibular incisors in extraction cases, offering insights that may enhance treatment outcomes.
Methods: A finite element model was created, encompassing the mandibular dentition (excluding first premolars), mandible, periodontal ligaments, and clear aligners.
Sepsis, a life-threatening condition characterized by systemic inflammatory responses, remains a significant challenge in clinical settings due to its complex pathogenesis and limited therapeutic strategies. Central to this conundrum is the role of cell death mechanisms, particularly necroptosis, in the progression and resolution of sepsis. Necroptosis, a regulated form of necrotic cell death, not only exacerbates inflammation through the release of intracellular contents but also compromises barrier functions, facilitating microbial translocation and systemic spread.

Using principal component analysis and K-means clustering, we categorise 602 samples into six clusters and create representative Chinese head-and-ear models. A pressure tester was then developed to quantify the pressure exerted on head and ear regions by the headphone cushions.
