Ammonia (NH) has attracted increasing attention for its reduction potential in fine particulate matter mitigation, yet current NH emission inventories involve substantial uncertainties. Previous bottom-up NH inventories are usually constrained by satellite observations, deposition measurements, or isotopic analysis and still lack careful validation at fine regional scales. This study develops a novel diagnostic framework combining multisite NH observations across the Pearl River Delta (PRD) with the Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) model simulations and machine learning techniques to evaluate and refine a regional NH inventory.

Early detection is crucial for improving patient outcomes, yet the current biomarker, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), lacks sufficient specificity and sensitivity, especially in the diagnostic gray zone (PSA 4-10 ng/mL). Novel noninvasive biomarkers are needed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and reduce unnecessary biopsies.

To address misdiagnosis caused by feature coupling in multi-label medical image classification, this study introduces a chest X-ray pathology reasoning method. It combines hierarchical attention convolutional networks with a multi-label decoupling loss function. This method aims to enhance the precise identification of complex lesions.

In recent years, propelled by the rapid development of information technology and the Internet, the formation control of multi-agent systems has gradually emerged as a research hotspot. This paper focuses on the formation control problem of multi-agent mechanical systems with port-Hamiltonian (PH) dynamics. Firstly, the formation problem is converted into an optimization problem whose solution meets the formation requirements.

However, robust clinical evidence regarding its effectiveness and safety remains limited. This retrospective cohort study aimed to compare the surgical quality and short-term outcomes of robotic-assisted axillary lymph node dissection (R-ALND) and endoscopic-assisted axillary lymph node dissection (E-ALND) in patients with node-positive breast cancer.

Prostate cancer is a common male genitourinary malignancy with bone metastasis posing challenges for prognosis and treatment. This study aimed to investigate the role of SHC protein SH2 structural domain binding protein 1 (SHCBP1) in prostate cancer bone metastasis. Whole transcriptome sequencing of prostate cancer samples was conducted to identify oncogene expression, specifically focusing on SHCBP1.

Cuproptosis, a newly discovered form of cell death, plays an important role in cancer. Nonetheless, additional research investigating the association between cuproptosis-related lncRNAs and prostate cancer (PCa) prognosis is required.

Methods: Eighteen male C57BL/6J mice of specific pathogen-free (SPF) grade, aged 8 weeks, were selected and divided into three groups: a control group (0.9% saline gavage for 16 weeks), a D-gal group (subcutaneous injection of 200 mg/kg D-galactose in the upper neck region, once daily for 8 weeks), and a D-gal + APS group (subcutaneous injection of 200 mg/kg D-galactose, once daily for 8 weeks, with concurrent administration of 100 mg/kg APS by gavage for 8 weeks).
Background: Chronic hyperglycemia can damage the microcirculation, which impairs the function of various organs and tissues and predisposes individuals to chronic complications. Sarcopenia (SP) is the age-related decline in muscle mass and function that contributes to the sequelae of type 2 diabetes. In particular, diabetic patients are at higher risk of SP because of insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and decreased physical activity.

Recent evidence highlights the pivotal role of pseudouridine synthases in solid tumor progression, yet the specific enzyme driving prostate cancer metastasis remains unidentified. This study uncovers a novel regulatory mechanism of the FOXA1/PUS1/EIF3b signaling axis in prostate cancer bone metastasis.

The regulation of C2C12 myoblast and skeletal muscle fibroblast apoptosis is associated with these pathological changes. Previous studies have indicated that irisin, the cleaved form of fibronectin type III domain-containing protein 5 (FNDC5), can alleviate primary sarcopenia.

Docetaxel chemotherapy has proven effective in improving overall survival in patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), but drug resistance remains a considerable clinical challenge.
Methods: We explored the role of Ribonucleotide reductase subunit M2 (RRM2), a gene associated with senescence, in the sensitivity of prostate cancer to docetaxel.
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease spreading rapidly worldwide. As it quickly spreads and can cause severe disease, early detection and treatment may reduce mortality. Therefore, the study aims to construct a risk model and a nomogram for predicting the mortality of COVID-19.

Primary sarcopenia is a multicausal skeletal muscle disease associated with muscle strength and mass loss. Skeletal muscle fibrosis is one of the significant pathological manifestations associated with the development of age-related sarcopenia. Irisin, which is cleaved by the extracellular domain of fibronectin type Ⅲ domain-containing protein 5 (FNDC5), has previously been reported to exert antifibrotic effects on the heart, liver, and pancreas, but whether it can rescue skeletal muscle fibrosis remains unknown.

In this paper, a closed-form analytical solution of option price under the Bi-Heston model is derived. Through empirical analysis, the advantages and disadvantages of the parametric pricing model are compared and analysed with those of the non-parametric model. The analysis shows that: (1) the parametric pricing model significantly outperforms the machine learning model in terms of in-sample pricing effects, while the Bi-Heston model slightly outperforms the Heston model.
