This study presents L009, a novel antiangiogenic agent derived from the Kringle 5 domain of human plasminogen, specifically a heptapeptide, designed to treat CNV. In preclinical models, L009 demonstrated substantial efficacy by markedly inhibiting endothelial cell proliferation and migration, reducing vascular permeability, and maintaining ocular safety.

Lithium metal batteries (LMBs) have emerged as promising candidates for next-generation high-energy-density systems. However, the practical implementation of LMBs faces critical challenges including uncontrolled dendrite proliferation and excessive lithium consumption, which significantly deteriorate cycling stability and raise safety concerns. Patulin (PAT) produced by genus of Penicillium spp attracted more and more concern in view of its widespread contamination in food and toxic effects, which has also promoted the research on the reduction of PAT contamination in food. Their stuctures were extensively elucidated using 1D/2D NMR, high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HRESIMS) data, and ECD calculation. Among these, compounds 1, 6 and 7 belong to a class of diterpenes featuring a [5, 5]-oxaspirolactones moiety, a rare structure isolated from the Salvia plants.
