The LiAlTi(PO) (LATP)-polymer composite solid electrolyte offers environmental stability and safety for high-energy lithium metal batteries (LMBs), yet suffers from interfacial instability and high interfacial resistance. Herein, a Janus self-supporting skeleton (J-SSK) is engineered via multi-scale coupling of poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluorethylene) (PVDF-TrFE), LATP, 2-(3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-1,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl) ureido) ethyl methacrylate (UPyMA) monomer, where intermolecular multiple hydrogen bonds reinforce mechanical robustness while the Janus structure isolates LATP from direct Li contact. In situ copolymerizing vinylene carbonate (VC) and UPyMA monomer in J-SSK to construct Janus composite quasi-solid electrolyte (J-CQSE) achieves seamless integration of electrode/electrolyte interfaces and establishes hierarchical coupling across J-SSK, polymer matrix, and lithium salts.

Developing highly active and robust bifunctional electrocatalysts for overall water splitting is of great significance for the production of green hydrogen energy. Herein, heterostructured CoP/NiCoP nanoparticles that are encapsulated one-to-one in nano caves of soda-biscuit-like ultrathin carbon nanosheets (CoP/NiCoP/CMS) are prepared, using melamine-formaldehyde sponge (MS) that grew Co/NiCo hydroxides as precursor and phytic acid (PA) as phosphorus source. Especially, the PA-induced blowing behavior during pyrolysis not only transforms the 3D networks of MS into 2D ultrathin carbon nanosheets of CMS, but also achieves the uniform one-to-one superconfinement of hetero-nanoparticles within both the intralayer nanocaves and interlayer spaces of the carbon nanosheets.

Steroid hormones and influence of therapeutic drugs in Chinese postmenopausal rheumatoid arthritis patients.

Objective: To investigate steroid hormone profiles and therapeutic modulation in Chinese postmenopausal rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients.

Methods: This cross-sectional study enrolled 138 postmenopausal women, including 88 RA patients stratified by treatment status (23 treatment-naïve, 35 on methotrexate [MTX] monotherapy, and 30 receiving MTX plus glucocorticoids [GC]) and 50 age-matched healthy controls. Using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), we quantified 36 steroid hormones/metabolites to assess treatment-associated endocrine alterations.

Particulate matter and their interaction of physical activity on ovarian cancer survival: A prospective cohort study.

Insufficient data exists regarding the trade-off between the survival benefits of exercise in patients with ovarian cancer (OC) and the potential risks associated with increased particulate matter (PM) exposure during physical activity (PA). Objective: This study aimed to analyze the profiles and evolution of Staphylococcus aureus in the pediatric intensive care units (PICUs) of 17 hospitals in China from 2016 to 2022.

Methods: Susceptibility testing was performed to bacterial strains with a uniform monitoring protocol, which was provided by the US Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and used by the China Antimicrobial Surveillance Network (CHINET). The results were interpreted in accordance with the performance standards for antimicrobial susceptibility testing issued by the US Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute.

Analyzing the spectrum characteristics of a double-grating transmission scheme.

In this paper, the spectral characteristics formed by a double-grating transmission scheme are discussed based on the scalar diffraction theory. First, considering two different grating periods, the angular spectrum at the back of the second grating is obtained. Then, the spectral characteristics are discussed with three different periodic conditions, while it is proved that the spatial distribution and spacing of the spectrum are absolutely determined by the grating constants and angles.

Association between sleep quality and serum biomarkers among long-term hot spring bathers: a cross-sectional study.

Previous studies investigating the influence of hot spring bathing on sleep quality have predominantly focused on the short-term effects through questionnaire surveys without blood collection for biochemical tests. Here, we undertook a comprehensive investigation of the long-term health effects of hot spring bathing among the residents of Hot Spring Village. A total of 140 participants were enrolled, and their demographic characteristics and the patterns of hot spring bathing were obtained via face-to-face interview, and sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI).
