Finely tunable detection of microRNAs (miRNAs) is crucial for personalized medicine and cancer diagnosis, and it is a challenge to construct a tunable sensor for miRNA detection due to the diversity and complexity of cancer patient samples. This study introduces a three-dimensional (3D) DNA walker mediated by a remote toehold strand displacement reaction, which addresses the challenge of achieving tunable detection limits and sensitivities for microRNA-21 (miR-21) at a kinetic level, enabling specific recognition of cancer cells. By engineering a spacer domain within the DNA walker, the kinetics of the strand displacement reaction can be precisely modulated, thereby controlling the walking efficiency and achieving tunable detection with a detection limit range from 32 aM to 290 pM and a broad dynamic range from ∼1100-fold to ∼283,000-fold.

In the present paper, the corrosion behavior of ZG230-450 in chloride-sulfate atmospheric environment was studied, comparing with ordinary low-carbon steel Q235. Long-term and short-term corrosion tests were conducted, the corrosion products of the materials were observed and tested by scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction, and the corrosion rate and pitting corrosion behavior of the materials were studied by electrochemical test. The test results show that (1) the corrosion products of Q235 are mainly composed of γ-FeO, γ-FeOOH, and α-FeOOH, while corrosion products of ZG230-450 are mainly composed of FeO, γ-FeOOH, and α-FeOOH; (2) in the early stage of corrosion, the corrosion rate of ZG230-450 is higher than that of Q235.

Hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) with the ABX formula have garnered significant scientific interest owing to their substantial technological promise in photovoltaics, optoelectronics and ferroelectrics. Their structural diversity and molecular-scale chemical programmability provide an exceptional platform for engineering diverse functional HOIP architectures through targeted compositional design. However, the strategic potential of alkaline earth metals (e.

This convergence heightens transmission risk, and we provide a novel synthesis of context-specific, integrated control strategies.

The potential of ultrasound has been greatly underestimated because there is no previous literature on ultrasound-based diagnosis of this disease.
Patient Concerns: A 40-year-old woman presented with dizziness.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the diagnostic value of nanocarbon suspensions and methylene blue injections in sentinel lymph node biopsies of patients with breast cancer based on the dye method.
Methods: A systematic search of the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library (Central) and Web of Science (SCI Expanded) databases was performed to determine the diagnostic value of carbon nanoparticles in Chinese databases (China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP, Wanfang, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM)) for identifying methylene blue in sentinel lymph node biopsies of patients with breast cancer. Background: This case report examines the challenges associated with removing a totally implantable venous access port (TIVAP) used for long-term chemotherapy in a patient with breast cancer. Prolonged use of TIVAPs can result in complications such as catheter kinking, thrombosis, and adhesions between the catheter and surrounding tissues, potentially complicating their removal.
Case Summary: A breast cancer patient with bone metastasis presented with difficulty aspirating blood from a TIVAP that had been placed in the right internal jugular vein for 3 years.
Microplastics (MPs) are readily ingested by organisms and tend to accumulate in intestinal tissues, posing potential health risks. However, most existing MP extraction methods are designed for aquatic organisms and are unsuitable for terrestrial organisms with high lipid content. In this study, we developed an efficient Fenton oxidation-based method for extracting MPs from mouse intestinal tissues.

Introduction: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common psychiatric disorder in children during their early school years. While many researchers have explored automated ADHD detection methods, developing accurate, rapid, and reliable approaches remains challenging.
Methods: This study proposes a graph convolutional neural network (GCN)-based ADHD detection framework utilizing multi-domain electroencephalogram (EEG) features.
ecological restoration is an effective method to address land degradation and ecosystem deterioration of urban agglomeration with rapid development. However, previous efforts neglect socio-economic goals for ecological restoration and the land use demand in the future, leading to a disconnect between ecological restoration and the support for social and economic development. Here we explore the identification of key areas for ecological restoration (KAsER) according to a multi-objective view of the urban agglomeration, as well as future demand.

Its overexpression is implicated in the pathogenesis of various malignancies, highlighting the need for effective SHP2 inhibitors. Herein, we report the design and synthesis of a novel series of thiazolo[5,4-]pyridine and imidazo[1,2-]pyrimidine derivatives as SHP2 allosteric inhibitors identified through active fragment splicing.

Groundwater quality is strongly compromised by polluted surface water recharge in rapidly developing urban regions. However, gaps still remain in the understanding of the critical contaminants controlling water quality and the health risks associated with groundwater consumption, particularly considering seasonal and climate changes in rainfall. This work focused on changes in groundwater quality and critical contaminants in domestic wells in the fast-developing Pearl River Delta (PRD) from the wet season to the dry season.
