Although pressure-driven structural transitions have been intensively studied, the influence of pressure on magnetism has been less exploited for MOFs. Especially, the efficiency of applied pressure may strongly depend on the pressure-transmitting medium (PTM), which may have a complex interaction with MOFs.

The purpose of this study was to compare the diagnostic performance of the O-RADS US and the International Ovarian Tumor Analysis (IOTA) Simple Rules (SRs) in senior and junior sonologists to determine a more suitable assessment model for general clinical use.
Methods: We prospectively recruited 228 patients diagnosed with adnexal masses (AMs).
Allopolyploidization, resulting from hybridization and subsequent whole-genome duplication (WGD), is a fundamental mechanism driving evolutionary diversification across various lineages within the Tree of Life. The polyploid Prunus (Rosaceae), significant for its economic and agricultural value, provides an ideal model for investigating the evolutionary dynamics associated with allopolyploidy. In this study, we utilized deep genome skimming (DGS) data to demonstrate a comprehensive analytical framework for elucidating the underlying allopolyploidy that includes a newly adapted tool (DGS-Tree2GD) tailored explicitly for accurately detecting WGD events.

Background: Elevated serum uric acid (SUA) is strongly associated with adverse clinical outcomes. Sodium-glucose-cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitors not only lower blood glucose levels but also reduce UA. However, comparative data on the SUA-lowering effects among different SGLT2 inhibitors remain sparse, hindering evidence-based drug selection.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors can decrease serum uric acid (sUA) levels and have potential in the management of glucose levels and cardiorenal protection in patients.
Aim: This systematic review and network meta-analysis aimed to investigate the effects of SGLT-2 inhibitors on sUA levels and incidence of gout in patients with or without type 2 diabetes.
Method: A systematic search of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and Clinical Trials databases was performed to retrieve relevant articles published from inception to April 27, 2025, focusing on the impact of SGLT-2 inhibitors on sUA levels or the incidence of gout in the study participants.

Broccoli exhibits a high susceptibility to quality deterioration during postharvest storage. Previous studies have shown that preharvest spraying of 2 mmol/L L-phenylalanine (L-Phe) can effectively inhibit the chlorophyll degradation of broccoli during storage, thereby delaying yellowing. However, its effect on reactive oxygen species (ROS) homeostasis and corresponding antioxidant defense mechanisms and antioxidant capacity has not been elucidated.

Case: We presented a case of SMBT. In this case, microvascular imaging, particularly three-dimensional (3D) microvascular imaging of ultrasound showed the regular distribution of vascularity along the axis of the papillary trunk and branches.
Myopia is a visual impairment caused by excessive refractive power of the cornea or lens or elongation of the eyeball. Due to the various classification criteria associated with high myopia, such as spherical equivalent (SE) and axial length (AL), existing methods primarily rely on individual classification criteria for model design. In this paper, to comprehensively utilize multiple indicators, we design a multi-label classification model for high myopia.

Objectives: Cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) refers to a special type of pregnancy with a variable prognosis. We aimed to establish a prognostic classification system using ultrasound and clinical features to provide a reference for management strategies.
Methods: Exactly 230 patients with CSP were included and categorized into three groups based on treatment and prognosis: Group A (favorable prognosis), Group B (moderate prognosis), and Group C (poor prognosis).
Purpose: The local application of triamcinolone acetonide (TA) in patients with macular edema (ME) is off-label and the data are limited. We designed a systematic review and network meta-analysis to compare risk of intraocular pressure (IOP) elevation among TA for different routes of administration used by patients diagnosed with macular edema.
Methods: We obtained data from the PubMed, Medline, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials for randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
The porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), a highly pathogenic coronavirus, poses significant challenges to global swine agriculture with severe economic consequences. Our research reveals that in addition to known transmission routes, PEDV can be airborne, initially invading the nasal mucosa and subsequently being transported by dendritic cells and peripheral blood T cells, ultimately leading to intestinal disease in piglets. This study elucidates the cellular mechanisms behind the process, demonstrating how PEDV is internalized by CD4 T cells after being transferred by dendritic cells, where it establishes a latent infection.

We have investigated the anisotropic magnetodielectric effect in the perovskite metal-organic framework [CHNH][Co(HCOO)] single crystals. At 2 K, the spin reorientation along the [101] direction induces a notable dielectric peak, while the ferromagnetic ground state along the [010] direction gives rise to a pronounced positive magnetodielectric effect, which is attributed to the strong magnetic anisotropy of the [CHNH][Co(HCOO)] compounds. At the critical temperature of magnetic ordering, the maximum magnetodielectric effect is observed when both magnetic and electric fields are applied along the [010] or [101] directions, with Δε/ε values of -0.
