Background: Breast cancer is a prevalent disease that has a dismal prognosis for patients and a bad outlook for treatments. This study used electrochemical noise technology to analyse the effects of surface damage induced by cavitation erosion (CE) on the pitting and passivation behaviours of TA31 Ti alloy. Emerging evidence supports that intestinal microbial metabolite short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) increase the pool of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in the colonic lamina propria (cLP) and protect against nonintestinal inflammatory diseases, such as atherosclerosis and post-infarction myocardial inflammation.
