Stem cell therapy has revolutionized the management of osteoarthritis (OA), but the articular dysregulated redox status diminishes cell engraftment efficiency and disrupts immune homeostasis, therefore compromising the overall therapeutic efficacy. Here, we present hydrogen (H) generators-backpacked mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) which preserve the biological functions and survival of transplanted cells and reverse articular immune dysfunction, mitigating OA. Specifically, post systemic transplantation, H generators-laden MSCs home to OA joints, and upon stimulation in acidic OA environment, H produced from the generators remodels articular redox balance, thereby relieving the loss of mitochondrial membrane potential, decreasing cell apoptosis rate, and maintaining pluripotent and paracrine functions of MSCs.

Methods: The study meticulously curated articles and reviews concentrating on biofilm eradication from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and identified literature published in 2012-2022 for further analysis, and the bibliometric and visualized analysis was performed to elucidate a clustering pattern in the domain with tools mainly including CiteSpace and VOSviewer.

Results: 15,503 authors affiliated with 2,397 institutions spanning 96 countries or regions contributed to a corpus of 3,201 articles, containing 7,005 keywords.

In this paper, a cascaded microsphere compound lens (CMCL) is introduced, in which a 20-µm-diameter barium titanate glass (BTG) primary microsphere and a 250-nm-diameter or 200-nm-diameter polystyrene (PS) secondary microsphere array constitute CMCL1 and CMCL2, respectively. The field of view (FOV) depends on the size of the BTG microsphere, while the waist of the photon nanojet (PNJ) can be adjusted by the size of the PS microsphere. In this study, single- (SFU) and dual-frequency (DFU) ultrasounds were used to extract polysaccharides from okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench) pods (OPSs), and the physicochemical characteristics, functional properties, and in vitro biological activities of the OPSs were comparatively evaluated.
