Purpose: The aim of this umbrella review is to assess the effectiveness of exercise interventions in preventing and managing cancer-related cognitive impairment among cancer survivors, providing an evidence-based foundation for clinical practice.
Methods: The umbrella review was pre-registered on PROSPERO. It included systematic reviews that assessed any exercise interventions aimed at improving cognition in cancer patients.
Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Gouty arthritis (GA), a metabolic disorder, presents as recurrent acute arthritis with hyperuricemia. Huazhuo Sanjie Chubi decoction (HSCD), a traditional Chinese medicine oral decoction, has been extensively utilized for spleen deficiency with damp retention and GA management. However, its mechanisms against GA and associated renal fibrosis remain underexplored.

Immunotherapy resistance remains a substantial barrier to improving treatment outcomes for patients with lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). Identifying effective immunotherapy target is crucial for enhancing therapeutic efficacy in LUAD. Through database analysis, we discovered that ADP ribosylhydrolase-like 1 (ADPRHL1, ARH2) is associated with immunosuppression.

Methods: Our study included 170 pregnant women, divided into training (70%) and validation (30%) sets.
Background: Ginsenoside Re (G-Re), a unique ginsenoside almost exclusively found in Araliaceae plants, is a promising therapeutic agent for attenuating liver injury. This study aims to investigate the liver-protective effects of G-Re and the underlying mechanisms in acute liver injury models.
Methods: Male C57BL/6 mice were intraperitoneally injected with various agents induce the acute liver injury model after pre-treatment with G-Re (5-20 mg/kg, oral gavage).
Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the leading cause of cancer death worldwide. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have emerged as potential key players in the onset and progression of various cancers. However, the specific roles and mechanisms of circRNAs in LUAD remain largely unexplored.

In this study, a novel P-N CoO/ZnO heterojunction aerogel photocatalyst was fabricated through a process starting with the propylene oxide ring-opening-induced gelation technique. The resulting CoO/ZnO aerogel exhibits an interconnected, hierarchical porous structure, which endows it with a particle diameter size at around several tens of nanometers and a large BET-specific surface area, thereby providing abundant exposed active sites.

Ferredoxin 1-like (FDX1L) is a pivotal component of the core iron-sulfur (Fe-S) cluster assembly machinery. However, the role of FDX1L in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has not been thoroughly elucidated. In this study, we conducted genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 screenings and identified FDX1L as an essential gene for hepatoma cell survival.

This study investigated the key mechanisms of G-Rd in modulating the gut microbiome and lipid peroxidation-mediated ferroptosis pathway in MAFLD.
Methods: A high-fat diet-induced MAFLD model was established.
Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Huazhuo Sanjie Chubi Decoction (HSCD), a Chinese herbal formula, is traditionally used for the treatment of spleen deficiency with dampness accumulation and is commonly used to treat gouty arthritis (GA). However, the potential active compounds and mechanisms of HSCD remain unclear.
Aim Of The Study: To elucidate the key bioactive compounds and pharmacological mechanisms of HSCD in treating GA.
Gut microbiota and bile acid metabolism play crucial roles in the progression of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Early evidence demonstrates that Ginsenoside Re (Re) possesses pharmacological effects on NAFLD, but its mechanisms of action are not well understood. This study aimed to investigate the hepatic protective effects of Re in NAFLD and elucidate relevant mechanisms.

Background: Lour., a genus in the subfamily Cercidoideae of the family Leguminosae, is characterized by woody liana habit, tendrils, and distinctive bilobate or bifoliolate leaves. The genus holds important medicinal value and constitutes a complex group characterized by morphological diversity and unstable taxonomic boundaries.

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common cancers. Cellular senescence plays a vital role in carcinogenesis by activating many pathways. In this study, we aimed to identify biomarkers for predicting the survival and recurrence of CRC through cellular senescence-related genes.

The lack of ICD inducers explored in lung cancer necessitates investigation into new inducers for this context, therefore, this study aims to explore whether the gemcitabine (GEM) and celecoxib can activate the immunogenic chemotherapy progress in lung cancer tissue.
Methods: We assessed five chemotherapeutic agents for their ability to trigger ICD using and experiments, including western blotting (WB), flow cytometry, and tumor preventive vaccine assays.
Background: Cancer recurrence following surgical resection is a major cause of treatment failure. Finding effective methods to prevent postoperative recurrence and wound infection is an important component of successful surgery. With the development of new nanotechnology, more treatment options have been provided for postoperative adjuvant therapy.

We hypothesized that enhancing anti-cancer immune response and inhibiting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) adhesion and transendothelial migration through synergistic multi-target approaches may effectively prevent cancer metastasis. "Fuyuan Decoction" (FYD) is a traditional Chinese medicine compound that is widely used to prevent postoperative metastasis in cancer patients, but its underlying mechanism remains unclear.
