Background: Subepithelial lesions (SELs) present significant diagnostic challenges in gastrointestinal endoscopy, particularly in differentiating malignant types, such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) and neuroendocrine tumors, from benign types like leiomyomas. Misdiagnosis can lead to unnecessary interventions or delayed treatment. To address this challenge, we developed ECMAI-WME, a parallel fusion deep learning model integrating white light endoscopy (WLE) and microprobe endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), to improve SEL classification and lesion characterization.

It plays a dual role, facilitating cell survival by removing damaged mitochondria or contributing to programmed cell death in certain conditions. Dysregulation of mitophagy is implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, metabolic syndromes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancers.

Alveolar type II (ATII) cells are widely recognized to play a key role in the pathogenesis of ILD. This study first aimed to screen and validate potential autoantigens involved in RA-ILD using ATII cells.

However, due to lacking strict geographic isolation barriers, sympatrically distributed closely related species may experience interspecific gene flow and genetic introgression, which can blur species boundaries. Here we focus on two sympatrically distributed species along the Lancang (Mekong) River in three populations from Southwest China, and , to investigate the extent of genetic introgression between them and how they maintain species boundaries.

This study systematically investigates the influence of NF curvature on HF propagation behavior through large-scale true triaxial hydraulic fracturing physical simulations. The experiments were conducted on artificial rock specimens containing prefabricated fractures with varying curvature parameters.

However, to date, characterizing the adsorbed surface area occupied by the corona phase has been difficult and not accessible with conventional particle sizing methods. Herein, we advance the technique of molecular probe adsorption (MPA) to measure this surface area by applying it to a large number of data sets.

Methods: This multicenter retrospective cohort study included 1,196 RA patients enrolled in the China Rheumatoid Arthritis Registry of Patients with Chinese Medicine (CERTAIN) from September 1, 2019 to December 4, 2023, who initiated GC therapy. Participants were divided into the Western medicine (WM) and integrative medicine (IM, combination of CM and WM) groups based on medication regimen.
Eleutherococcus senticosus, a unique herb with significant medicinal and ecological importance, has remained largely unexplored regarding its mitochondrial genome. This research details the complete assembly and annotation of the E. senticosus mitogenome, achieved using a hybrid sequencing strategy that integrates data from Illumina short-read and Nanopore sequencing long-read sequencing data.

Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disorder primarily affecting joints, characterized by high incidence rates and significantly impairing patients' quality of life. Neutrophils play a pivotal role in RA pathogenesis, making therapeutic interventions targeting neutrophil-mediated inflammatory cascades a promising strategy for RA treatment.
Methods: Inspired by traditional Tibetan medicinal formulations, which typically combine metallic minerals and organic components, this study developed iron-doped carbon dots (MM-CDs) via a facile one-pot synthesis approach using magnetite (Cishi) and medicated leaven (Shenqu).
Background And Aims: Exploring the interplay of environmental variability and adaptation of an endemic species is essential to unravel its evolutionary history and lays the groundwork for assessing how it may react to the accelerating pace of climate change. Employing a population genomics method, this research sought to investigate the adaptation of a cycad species, Cycas segmentifida, to heterogeneous environments and how this fosters population differentiation, guiding its conservation efforts.
Methods: We used double digest restriction-site associated DNA-sequencing (ddRAD-seq) to elucidate the pattern of genetic diversity and divergence, and then analyze how geographical and environmental factors contribute to population divergence in C.
Background: Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) is conducted globally. On TikTok, CPET-related content serves as a key source of information for the public. However, the quality of these videos has not been systematically evaluated.

Cd exposure impairs fatty acid metabolism in the kidneys, particularly affecting arachidonic acid (AA) levels, which are crucial for health. Previous studies have suggested that Cd-altered the AA metabolism associates with renal dysfunction.

To build a natural driving environment in the virtual environment for autonomous driving safety testing, a digital twin model of human driving behavior is essential. However, due to the lack of fidelity and intelligence of the driving behavior model of the background vehicle, there is an intolerable gap between the virtual simulation test environment and the real road test environment. This paper proposes the Multi-source Information Encoding Transformer (MSIE-Transformer) to model driving behaviors of background vehicles within the virtual simulation environment.

This study propose a MT deep learning model named inter-organ correlation based multi-task model (IOC-MT), to dynamically predict FD in six organ systems.
Methods: Three public ICU databases were used for model training and validation.
Auxin, particularly indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), is a phytohormone critical for plant growth, development, and response to environmental stresses like shade avoidance syndrome and thermomorphogenesis. Despite its importance, there is no existing method that allows for convenient and direct detection of IAA in various plant species. Here, we introduce a near-infrared fluorescent nanosensor that directly measures IAA using corona phase molecular recognition with high selectivity, specificity, and spatiotemporal resolution.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a persistent autoimmune inflammatory disorder that arises from the intricate interaction between genetic predisposition and environmental influences. The progression of RA can be delineated into four distinct phases: initially, the influence of genetic and environmental risk factors; followed by the emergence of systemic autoimmunity; subsequently, an asymptomatic inflammatory phase; and ultimately, the manifestation of clinical arthritis. Recently, the role of mucosal immunity in RA has gained significant attention in research.
